We need documentaries like this. Social media is a toxic magnet on people, with the superconductors being the need to fit in, feel adequate based on material and physical attraction which in turn only sucks you in more. I remember being a kid, 8, and seeing a floating piece of metal inside this electromagnetic. I almost shit myself in sheer awe. To this day, I still love electromagnetism. I am disappointed in what social media has become and to my knowledge, so are many others.

Hi Im interested in truth about EM field. I think ppl in power hide the truth I think science leave us a pale explanation of the mecanism of electricity/EM. What do tou think about the fact that fluid mecanisq equation are quasi similar to electeomagntisme equation. Eleteicity is a fluid ? I believe it is. Ether is a fluid. Nasa lies about our universe and earth. I think we live inside a EM field and the sun/moon rotates its center. Sun/moon rotates the center of the toroidal vortex ring. Sun heats and moon cools look for thermomether under moonlight vs moonshade experiment. Do you think EM field is in fact same as a vortex smoke ring torus field Look at pictures of vortex ring. There are layers. Look at hurricane anatomy. Same. Layers of hot embeded in opposite col layer. Look at dan bergerud vortex ring experiment showing behviour identical as light (interface refraction/diffraction/reflection) Electricity=ether=fluid. Coil = vortex ring. Magnets do have a vortex Coils have north and south. Shape of the earth is lie. Astronauts/Nasa lie. So you cant figure out true mecanism of magnetism. Hidden knowledge. Shape of the earth reveals true shape of magn field : toroid. Sunlight hit while moonlight cools. Sun and moon cercling in the very center of the torus doughtnut ring. Hurricane again cold and hot layers. Look for anatomy of hurricane in google you will see truth. www.google.com/search?q=hurricane+anatomy&client=ms-android-samsung&prmd=inv&sxsrf=ACYBGNQRyujFKcdl5e_LpObjgCNw8zUMFA:1570896532951&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwi37szOjZflAhULyoUKHSjfDAYQ_AUoAXoECA8QAQ&biw=412&bih=751&dpr=1.75#imgrc=NuHQNwE5kRV3-M Smoke ring = water ring = ether ring = EMfield images.app.goo.gl/SKqQvcMQjnnnx14u7 images.app.goo.gl/L2P73inz13JZomh79 In electriciry + goes one way - the other Same with hot and cold layers Look rank hilsh vortex tube. Most people get confused when it comes to direction of flow. I was taught to remember Glamour. That is GL - for generators left, and MR - for motors right. This is used when you're considering current flow from a higher positive potential to one of negative lower potential. As shown elsewhere, electron flow is from the negative lower potential to the higher positive potential so the left hand rule is correct when you need to consider the flow of electrons as opposed to conventional current. Anyway nice primer with a history lesson.

@craftertflat5957
@craftertflat5957 8 лет назад
+Tech Tins That's a good question. Why can't people actually explain this in better ways? I'm going to share this knowledge with others so I can retain it better. I also have a few ideas for my own experiments. I want to create propulsion system that can lift an aircraft into space using electromagnetic energy. Screw fuel...fuel is so primitive.
@TechTins_Projects
@TechTins_Projects 8 лет назад
+craftertflat TBH this only scratches the surface and is aimed at high school students. To get a fuller understanding you'll need to study advanced vector Calculus. But this series is still a very nice introduction to the general concepts. Which is why it is so good. As there are very few good introduction texts on EM Theory for children. Regards propulsion systems. The only aspect of EM theory that can provide propulsion through air are electric motors with low weight but high energy storage batteries. With jets and planes it is possible, but not rockets as they require huge amounts of thrust over short time spans. No batteries can't provide energy at that rate.
@alexandroochoa5858
@alexandroochoa5858 8 лет назад
By advanced vector calculus, what do you mean? A semester of multivariable calculus? Or is even that not enough to grasp em theory?

At 45.36, it is wrong to say that the change of magnetic field induces a current in the coil as it will only do that if the coil is loaded with an external circuit. In an Alternator or a Generator it is wiser to say that the change of magnetic field will induce a VOLTAGE IN THE COIL. and not a current. There is a current only when there isa load so first the voltage is generated with or without the load and then if there is a load the current will flow because of the voltage and the load together. If there is no load there is only a voltage at the terminals of a generator or an alternator.

I think magnetism is a deflation/inflation compression/decompression thing like a basket ball under a driblin' effect rebounds to it's pre-dent state immediately with a cubic(or more) exponential curve. ...a wobble, a ding and dents dance! Thus at the sub-atomic level, it is an oscillation, rather than a flow in the classic sense as there appear to be a barrier between those 2 realms(no-one has yet unified them) and why Quantum-this-Quantum-that lives its own physics versus classic physics. Dinnnnnnnng! ...and why I am nick-named DingBEN... I see an (error in perspective) that can cause confusion in "The Motor Principle." Please review video illustrations from time index [28:17] as you would view a gear and [30:40] as you would view 2 gears. (Same direction) of (rotating magnetism) is (not the same) as stated in video time index [30:40]. (Between wires), they (appear the same) like (cars on a highway). You will understand clearly when you use the (law of gear rotation), (clockwise rotation) with (wire electric flow) towards you and (counterclockwise rotation) with (wire electric flow) away from you. Gears rotating in the (same direction), would (clash as opposing forces) between themselves. As with magnetism (opposite forces) attract. Gears rotating in the (opposite direction) of each other would (not clash) together as having a (unity of force) between them. In magnetism, (unity of force or same polarity) causes repulsion. Note, In closing: a (person) driving a car (as the magnetism) flows, may agree with the video, but (gears) moving the car do not agree with the video's perspective. Conclusion, Formula: Between 2 wires, with (Same) electric wire (current flow direction) and (same) magnetic (clockwise/counterclockwise rotation) = attraction. Important, understanding of (how gears work), required. Anyone that doesn't fully understand (how gears work) may find it extremely difficult to understand the true perspective I have revealed in criticizing this video. Thank you, for the opportunity to view this amazing, outstanding and informative video!

14:00 What the hell are they talking about "left hand rule", it's right hand rule that shows the direction of the magnetic field in relation to current flow. Strangely enough, the diagram they show is actually correct, IF there was such a thing as the left hand rule (and there is but not like the one they show) and IF the "direction of current flow" is considered to be the same direction as the flow of electrons (which it is in reality but conventionally it's the wrong way around thanks to Franklin).
@robinhill5387
@robinhill5387 4 года назад
I think that you are correct... their Left Hand Rule contradicts the Right Hand Grip Rule, and their Flat Left Hand illustrating the deflection of the wire contradicts Flemings Left Hand Rule, which has the current flowing in the opposite direction for the upward deflection of the wire.
@annag27
@annag27 4 года назад
@@robinhill5387 It's because they are tracking ELECTRON flow, whereas the right hand rule uses CONVENTIONAL current flow which is tracking PROTON flow... in the end, it is the same result.

fascinating, brilliant production, entertaining, enjoyable, but more important education at its best,. spoiled a little, I thought, by dreadful and monotonous sound effects. The video would be quite exceptional on its own, but a minor point and thank you very much for the outstanding production

isnt it the right hand rule instead of the left hand rule???
@bijanghofranian5782
@bijanghofranian5782 10 лет назад
When using conventional current flow as conceived by Benjamin Franklin which he thought flows from + to - we use the right hand rule. But since it was found that current (electron current) actually flows from - to + we use the left hand rule, so all polarities and directions of electromagnetic fields still come out the same regardless of which current we use as long as we use the right hand rule for conventional current flow and left hand rule for electron current flow. Therefore we do not have to change all the published work on this subject. Almost all electrical engineering books to this day still use the conventional current flow (+ to -) and right hand rules.

Thx Doc ;-) Anyone : Could the part showing the solar wind with positive stuff deflected right by our northerly mag field, negative stuff deflected left, be part of reason for Earth's rotation in that Earth is positive, pushed on right by positive solar wind repelled, pulled attracted on left to negative solar particles. ?? As well as what keeps our core magnet charged. ??

+clint beastwood Yes me to. They used very few blocks to save on CPU and so it always looks minimalist artistic. Very cool. They should do modern cartoons like this. In fact this is why I think Lego Minecraft is so popular as that uses very similar low res graphics.

Another thing for thinking? What if the coil is long and wound in a bigger loop? According to this video and mainstream physics the H field will be in a circle following the big loop (like that in the center of the coil showed in the video, but curved following the bigger loop), but, if we contemplate this from farther away, same theory as above, the current will flow slower in a big loop (we don\t 'see' the curls of the original coil anymore, a current is simply flowing ON THE SURFACE of a conductor which is bend in a circular pattern at low drift speed, does it sound familiar?), so the H field induced by this 'slower\ current will be perpendicular to the loop/s plane in a direction i dc which what hand one determines, important is the directions of the H fields induced by THE SAME CURRENT can be at 90 degrees, depending on the viewer\s distance to the system! But according to the one and only Mr Einstein the speed of light is not depending on the reference system, electrons flow at that speed, so there can\t be a 'slower" current! Weird or what? FOOK MAINSTREAM PHYSICS, only half truths and LIES! Only explanation can come from different speeds that electrons can have, Tesla even proved that, but that\s another physics!

at 33:30 according to Fleming's Left Hand Rule force should act on a wire pushing it up not down. Thumb - Force Index finger - direction of Magnetic field (from north to south) Middle finger - direction of Current (in our case is towards us) any comments?
@adityasikdar
@adityasikdar 8 лет назад
the current flow shown in the video is the 'electron current', its direction being same as that of electron flow... for Fleming's left hand rule, the middle finger should point in the direction of conventional current flow, which is opposite to the direction of electron flow... so, in this case, it will be away from us...
