@@setrikaz9636 That's great and I'm so thankful for GreatScott's videos. The question is why are his 6 minute videos more helpful to us then the paid lectures we've sat through in college?🤔
@setrikaz9636
@setrikaz9636 3 года назад
@@Paradox3627505 school, college, university and all other of these things teach you many things, but usually those things you learned are outdated as hell and wont help you in real life situations. I mean like the most mOdErN thing that schools may teach you is Arduino, which is a technology from 10 years ago, they dont teach you something to use in a year or so, they teach you what they already used in many years back

Ray, I made an extremely loud noise with one the other day without a battery. I had dropped one on the floor. It landed legs up. I was barefoot and found the chip. The noise generated scared the cat out of the shop.

The high/low values for the inputs in the datasheet of a microcontroller (or pretty much any digital input pin of any logic circuit) are not equivalent to those of a schmitt trigger. They tell you what will definitely be seen as high or low voltage, but the outcome for everything in between is undefined.

using an op-amp as a comparator can have quit few pitfalls. Some op-amps have protection diodes between the +/- inputs so you can have more than a few 100mV between them and some op-amps invert their output when they hit the rail

Btw, what I hate about PCB manufacturers that price is hard to compare :( They seem to compete with the price of the board, but shipping is always more then the price of small boards. And "surely" there is no easy way to know what will be the total cost anyway for you in advance, so it's hard to compare all of these manufacturers based on the total cost, what people would be interested more (I guess) rather than some "imaginary" price which is never what you have to pay (ie, the "without shipping cost" price). Ok, for JLCPCB , probably shipping is free for the first order, that's true, but I meant in general. I would prefer a fixed price with ALL things included from all manufacturers (for about the same PCB surely) so it's much nicer to check and compare prices then. But I guess this is exactly what they don't want us to be able to do ... ?

74LS132P confusing me !! 😵😵😭😭 , it's datasheet is also very confusing , i wanna test this ic , but I don't know whether its Nand gate connected before of schmitt trigger or after that ???? By powering ic with 5v I measured its output voltage on its one ( two input Nand-schmitt ) that is 0.9 v on input A and B and 0.3v on its output Y !!!!! , it is ok to test one input schmit trigger for me !!! but ------ " How to test ' two Input schmitt with Nand ' Output With Hysteresis ????? Datasheet shows :// - on Vcc= 5V , VTh+ = 1.5 To 2V max ,, VTh- = 0.6 to 1.1V max !!!!?? and vth+ to vth- = 0.4 to 0.8 type ????? any one tell how to test it using potentiometers and multimeters ?????
