I like that you didn't force your hair once you realised the roots were hugging together and found a way to make it work. 😊 (Lowkey I think having to comb my hair everyday when it's straightened isn't the best for the ends. I have to keep it detangled to prevent matting, but I feel that the ends suffer.) I've recently been just separating the front and back halves of my head and doing styles the fulani inspired way, and that definitely cuts down on how much hair I have to handle at one time while cornrowing. Your flat twists look so pretty! I wear a very similar style (but with french braids) quite often. It's so easy and elegant at the same time. ❤
