Thanks for the video, this is such a nice technique! How difficult would it be to apply the same workflow to various shapes, such as circle, square, heart, etc?
Specifically, this method is suitable for rings with a polyhedral top with symmetry along two axes. But using similar techniques, you can design rings with any top.
This is amazing tutorial, clean! Can somebody explain me if when shape is closed like this you can export it to stl and print ? Or you need to transform it to solid shape before ?
