I needed a stand to hold my iPad while I watch videos, so I made this simple and easy project over the weekend. I used Huon Pine and Rosewood to make something straight forward and elegant.

watching for the diy and youtube comes up with this dude with professional equipment showing how to make it. i have a knife and a couple of screwdrivers. scissors are somewhere too.

@@Copimi I am not a professional... These are my diy hobby tools. My day job is just a basic corporate job. These tools are where I chose to spend my disposable income.

@@UrbanSelfSufficiency im fine, its just that i dont like being lied to. just be truthful and everything will be alright. happy to give you counseling if you want. also make sure you drink enough water and quit or reduce bad habbits like sugar, cigarettes and alcohol and you'll be fine.

@@Copimi I get it... I know the truth can hurt, so it's easier to believe we're being lied to. But I can assure you, I'm just a pleb who spent a tax return on some fancy tools once to reward himself. Making things in my shed is one of the few things that brings me true joy and all I want to do is share that passion with others. I'll take your advice about the bad habits, but I'll offer some of my own advice... Try to be kind.

Looks amazing. Im interested to understand why you didn’t set an angle on the dado? Your the first video that I’ve seen not do it and if im honest am favouring this as I don’t have a table saw. Im was going to use my router

@UrbanSelfSufficiency oh well I'm glad it's working out, ive noticed a lot of designs use an L shaped holder to help support it at the back could be beneficial if you ever make a new rendition.
