try reading the instructions. it says u have to hold the remote control in ur hands at all times lol. ur also sitting in the wrong postion. u have to sit up straight and have ur knees at a 45 degree angle so it doesnt move around. i got mine today. but found i cant sit in the position it tells u too cause i cant lift my legs high enough to get them on the pedals. not sitting the way it tells u to voids the warrenty as misuse if it breaks. think mine might be a newer model or older as the foot straps r diff. they have to be fitted onto the pedals using a plastic catch that clips on the side of the pedals and its bloody hard to get it on instead of over the top adjustment like the 1 in this vid. bit of false adverting as well. as every website ive seen them on for sale says no assembly required but u have to fit the feet and pedals on before u can use it. so thats assembly required and they supply the allan key and spanner to assemble it. mine didnt have them as i bought mine from ebay as it was an unwated gift so got it half price and partially assembled. the feet were on but not the pedals. Takes a bit of getting used to as ur not supposed to pedal it urself u have to let the machine do it for u. its designed for disabled ppl who have probs with their arms and legs like wheelchair bound ppl to get there leg muslces working and ppl with MS to help them strenghten their legs without having to put any strain on their legs. I got it cause i have probs with my knee caps popping out when i walk. so my legs dont get used very often as i cant walk very far so spend most of my time siting down or using a mobilty scooter to get around. used it on P1 for 10 mins and i was out of breath lol. best workout ive had in years for my legs. as well as leg problems i have a spine defect which is whats causing my knees to pop out and also have emphasyma so get out of breath fast hence lack of excercise. for me this looks like its perfect once i get the hang of using it correctly and finding the right sitting position thats comfortable for me as i cant sit upright i have to be slightly reclined. It does tend to wobble side to side a bit but so does a bike when ur riding it. u can reduce the wobble by not putting any presure on the pedals and let the motor do the work which is whats its supposed to do. u can use it while its turned off and pedal it like non motorised ones if u want too. it is desinged for use by disabled ppl not abled boddied ppl.
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, you can see this is a medical aid. For sick people who have difficulty moving. You need to choose a suitable body position that allows you to play sports comfortably and regularly with the device!
This product practically functions as a medical aid. I think its stability is good, just make sure the chair and mini bike are on a carpet or surface, don’t slip apart!
Hello. Need some help. First let’s split the exercise to passive (with help of motor) and active (with user power). Want to use it in active mode, what can be adjusted in this case? Can resistance be adjusted? What happens in case of passive mode, if user blocks motor in other direction, or if user is rotating faster as preset gear, will it damage it? I have a neurological user who does not follow instructions always and am skeptical. Probably cheaper mechanical mini bike could be better choice?
