That were lovely examples. I liked what you did with the cowbell on the first one, the dissonant one also appealed to me. I love how the Syntakt sounds but though it is very wide ranging it also feels specific at the same time. I definitely spot a lot of family resemblances between all of these tracks.
@@SupahDupah it was definitely not meant as criticism. I have a syntakt myself and I am still at a loss what this instrument actually “is”. For certain there is some kind of character in all the multitude of options, but I also struggle if I explore broad enough, so maybe not all recurring things are “fixed”, I may just have missed the right approach to certain sounds.
Well... yes and no.. of course I want more options, more knobs to twiddle... but it offers enough to find a wide range of sweetspots and different sounddesign possibilities (layering, FX sequencing, LFO on the effects, etc...)

Hey! Curious how you're getting such a fat tone out of this - haven't heard these types of sounds on really any other syntakt demo. Are you mainly just carefully gain staging + running everything through the analog overdrives? great tunes
I use quite a bit of the Analog Overdrive yes, and sometimes on the kickdrum do the highpass filter trick... so putting a highpassfilter on, the frequency all the way down, increase the resonance, and then slowly turn up the frequency to get that BASS BOOST :) And maybe a little mixing might be part of it?
Sorry-not-sorry ;) But I agree... especially because of the FX section, it becomes something extra... I will try to get the most out of the synth sounds!
