Boyyyy that random element spear throw combined with the poison fists plus that perc that makes poisoned foes take more damage is gold..I go for it every time..oh and detonators might.
U don’t even need all that. All u need is elemental spear and Masted of Arms (Triangle Attacks are all increased damage). U can literally just sit there and throw spears at every enemy and blow through an entire run in less than 10 mins. Most broken perk in the game
@@schaumi9038 Yeah thought so when i did this run i had no idea how the multipler works with the shimmer rifts i just picked some random combi that seem good. But thanks for checking getting info or testing stuff can be pretty annoying with valhalla 😅

Thanks man and no problem with the route. I will always share stuff like that, especially if its infos that are hard to know. Ppl can be weird about it and i find that weird tbh. And yeah my controlls are something else. Funny enough i only changed circle cause my controller had miss inputs on square and i couldn't get a new one at the time. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone though. Classic controlls makes aiming weird. Most of the time im aiming with my left hand and considering that the tech mostly focus on ranged attacks, its a really questionable controll setting ngl but i make it work 😂
@@potatochickoRight, I myself just hold L2 down the entire time and press L1 the exact moment a spear is thrown out to cancel the animation. It’s actually so easy and provides such a benefit.
Can’t believe I aint sub yet to my breaker brother! Yeah the elemental hunter is the best for spear! Awesome man! Love the spear. However, i do feel its still take too long to kill with melee but the throw spam and 🔺makes up for it.
In one of my runs, I got poisoned and Helios asked what that was, so Kratos told him it’s seidr poison. It’s interesting to see that he keeps that in mind if you get poisoned again, really cool detail
Your button taps dont seem to match the default. How do you have things mapped? I dont see R1 and R2 being hit at all and Draupnirs Wail isnt triggered with Triangle.
Thanks man appreciate it! And my layout is kinda weird. I got light attack on circle and heavy attack on triangle and draupniers wail would be R1. The full layout is at the end of the description but i be honest i find this layout not that great for ranged attacks. I learned it this way cause it felt similar to the older games when i started GoW 2018 and never changed it 😅
That after legacy right? Thats a animation cancel. The inputs would be: Dodge(barehanded)->Triangle->R1-> L2+R2(Hold for a moment than release)->L1+R2 right after the axe gets thrown->Down Dpad in the middle of the animation If you can't make it work, search for returning storm cancel tutorials. There should be some that covered it in more detail and thanks for the praise 👍
seeing you mastering the quick spear throw and still coming not even close to the damage of whiplash and atlas eruption spam makes me sad. such a cool weapon and perk shadowed by the blades😢
@@Tmo_201 yeah i noticed it last run when i got to level 5 in greece. i could stun grab those enemies twice before i managed to kill them. the spear is also not too shabby in boss fights. i could keep tyr in pretty long staggerloops with the spear throws. its a very fun weapon, especially with elemental hunter.
I keep telling Gbg that the spear is the best out of all weapons heal per kill elemental hunter it’s just too good all I wanna do is throw spears & detonators might🤯
can i ask why you picked honor the fallen as your first spear runic instead of artillery of the ancients? same cooldown time, but you already had the detonator's might perk
No special reason artillery would've been the better option for damage but i just value the CC of Honor of the Fallen more. Its a good counter tool when you get pressured since it stuns right when you activate it, i just prefer that runic the most on the spear.
Play through the whole dlc than you should be able to change at the stone tablet for skins by pressing L3 or R3 i think. And you can pick it up in your normal savefile at the smith and equip it from the pause menu the same way 👍
The rifts give different values of echoes and have different muliplier thats why its important to follow a route and the optimal route currently is this: Blue-Blue-Yellow-Boat-Yellow-Desert-Blue(gold shimmer)-Red-Red-Yellow(gold shimmer)-Forum-Red(gold shimmer) Not dying gives also extra points since last patch so thats also helpful to reach highscores now.
You need to block after each throw and shatter star shield is best for this. Im holding L2 with one finger and tap L1 with the other after each throw but there are also other methods to make it work with one finger only.
That are block cancels. Throw a spear than block and throw again. The speed depends on your shield. Shatter star is the fastest for that but i think every shield is faster than normal throwing.
47:46 Such a dumb decision. Literally the perk you were getting the most out of, you got rid of. When there were others like the extinguish/ vaporize or the stupid stunning shield perk you could of sacrificed instead.
Yeah i can see that vaporize perk should've been the pick or just forfeit but i thought my build was more about runics than spear throws and the stunning shield is one of the best defensive perks. That took at least 10 hits for me in that run shit is goated.
@@Tmo_201 I'm trying to beat them broken berserker on ngp my armor is maxed out as are my weapons and what worked before isn't working anymore I've watched many videos of people killing him in one hit and it never works for me
I mean he is never simple but in this case i just had a good build that carried me hard on him. The relic that gives you "last graps" heals and shields one attack and the perk that does generate a shields also helped a lot. Try getting that relic with relic recharge and you will have it a lot easier. Edit: Fury is also a blessing against the darkness
@@Tmo_201 Basically i got the hardest version of tyr...had to switch back on easy mode to get rid of it and luckly i got his aztec spartan mixup which was easy to counter.
@@HavyzNyx Thats also a solution i had that one at the run before this. That form is disgusting if you dont have a solution for the darkness. Dunno If i would've won here against that form with legacy. Fury heals status effects, legacy doesn't...
