I am an element runner to. I run a modified Element trail walker as my class to comp truck. We got good parts in it and it keeps up with all the boys and their cheater rigs!! I just changed my shocks to deluxe fab, and I think these are gonna be a game changer. Smoothest shock I have ever felt.
Your crawling location, and of course your videography, is simply amazing. You have overcome the Gatekeeper's biggest drawback - its desire to turn turtle. I will be buying some brass to keep it on its feet.
I finally picked up a kit. I used a set of currie rock jock axles, an all metal scx10 style trans because I don't like overdriving the front. I used a Holmes 21t 550 torque master pro, then I topped it off with a castle sw4 ESC for lots of programming options... Then I used a 46kg direct power servo. I've been playing around in the hobby for a couple years and Ive always used cheap servos. I will admit picking lines is alot easier with a strong servo.for tires I'm using the 5.4 tall proline boggers with single stage foams. This thing slow crawls lines other trucks cannot pass.
Awesome Video Brother!!! Love what you have done with this rig, the wider stance I really like and am going to do that myself. I am also really liking the SMS rear truss, I have the SOR riser in mine but I like that truss extension much better, also need to do the link rise in the front as well. Lots of great stuff here, and it is definitely time for me to make some changes to my gatekeeper.
Great video, helpful! Will you share info on the 20mm hub extensions (part numbers/brand/where to buy from) and the wheels you're running in this video? Much appreciated! I didn't see or find a video description hence the questions. I'm still learning you tube
@@DRTbrosuf thank you for replying. I'll check out ebay for the hub extensions. I gotcha on the JConcepts ruptures but I was looking for info on the rims/wheels. They look sweet!
