A presentation was given at PGE day of the Geological Survey of South Africa, where I describe results from element mapping the Merensky Reef from active mines in the western lobe of the Bushveld Complex.
I realise this was at least 2 years ago, but how did plot anorthite comp in your EDS map of plag? I assume it's not an element map of Ca as you'd see some pyroxene highlighted, but a phase map wouldn't show the zoning.
