I guess I caught this review at just the right moment because I am looking for an optic in the $800 to $1,000 price range. What I really like about the element is they give you the option to just have a plain old f*cking crosshair! I find that Horace type reticles are most distracting and I just don't need to see more junk in my field of view. I can live with a basic set of hash marks. These guys seem to cover more consumers. Thank you for the review. This is my go-to channel for optics reviews
I can’t get over mushy turrets for that price… maybe the Helix if it had an illuminated reticle option, it doesn’t have to be super bright (prefer it on the dimmer side honestly) but is necessary for any scope I buy given how easy it is to lose the reticle in a tree for instance in early morning late evenings
I have both on my 2 guns, after few months of usage i put Vortex on my better gun,Element will go for sale, just the quality control and response of turrets, even glass is better on Strike, weight is also on side of Eagle,Element Titan in my oppinion is one step down overall against Vortex Eagle, too much of marketing but the real truth is Element Titan is not in the league of 800-1000 scopes of other manufacturers...
One thing I have learned. Is Vortex, Nightforce and Leupold have better resale value. I have lost over fifty percent so far on other brands. Arken right now has great resale value. But if they don’t fix their supply and customer service problems that may change.
Warranty wise first off long term I would trust Vortex to still be around 20 years from now over Element as Vortex is already a large and proven their longevity already. Also there was a you tube reviewer who was having an issue and it seemed that Element is not as much of a "no question ask" process that you will get with Vortex. There are a lot of newer players in the optic arena that are touting their lifetime warranty, I wonder how many of them will still be around in 15-20 years to warranty them if needed. Another thing is the Element Weighs 39oz! The Vortex is not a light scope at 30 oz but the Element weighs even more than the Arkens do! I have seen a lot of people comparing the SE glass to that of the Viper PST while with the Element I have seen more saying the Arken SH4 had as good or better glass and we know that is not saying much. I like your review process but I many times do not agree with your deductions or outcomes.
I have vortex scopes. On 3 of guns. As a hunter. Done very well. Got all my deers. Happy so far. I have a 300win mag Winchester molde 70 looking for a great scope .do you have any ideas for 50 yards to 500 can anyone help .please and thank you .
hello, if you had to choose between element titan 5-25x56 or continental vector 4-24x56 ppf for a pcp firing range up to 200m which would be better? Thank you
@@EpikArms okay. I ask you why here is 400 dollars less the continental vector, and if it is really worth paying those 400 dollars more for the titan element ... I know that they are worth the same there, but in my country the vector is cheaper and I know that it is very good according to your tests
@@EpikArms brilliant. I know that the 2 sights are excellent, but here the difference between the two is too much, and the continental vector is very good, I would use the turrets a lot and I saw in your video that they are very good and of quality also the vector ones. .Thank you very much for your answer. Greetings
Element Titan and Vector Continental are Chinese scopes. The Continental compared to the Titan even if it's half the price the Vector is a better scope.
Have you been able to confirm that the Element Titan's zero stop does not limit the total internal elevation adjustment? I think in your dedicated video review of the Element Titan, you mention that the zero stop does impact and limit the total internal elevation adjustment. Could you please confirm, as the Element Titan seems like a good alternative to the pricer (in the EU) Arken EP5 (in which the zero stop does not limit the internal elevation adjustment). Thanks in advance!... and thanks for the great product reviews!
@@commonsense5709 Thanks for the reply. I've decided to go the route of a Delta Javelin 4.5-30x56 FFP (SMR-1 reticle), which for the same price as the Arken EP5 5-25x56 FFP (VPR MIL) on this side of the pond (circa €1K EUR), is a far better scope in every way for the money (especially the glass). Cheers!
I’m a double Vortex customer Razor HD Gen II and Viper Gen I - strike eagle quality and warranty requests have seen increased frequency based on a few reviews. The Element Titan is a beast, and superb quality. Element’s platinum warranty equivalent. I like my scopes to work well, and not to have them taken off and go in for warranty. Love them both, just did not take the risk on the SE.
Because, if you believe the noise, you are more than likely going to NEED that warranty...at least lately they say. That's just what the people are saying about the recent products from Vortex. Good luck whichever way you go.🇨🇦👍🇺🇸
hello my friend, which binoculars do you like more, which one would you buy if you were a buyer? I don't understand your language very well which one is better
Hey ,i have a question ,how much is the zoom on a 4x20 scope ? Like is it 2x 4x or 6x ,just yesterday i got a 4x20 scope and idk much about it but i have it set on my spr (a plastic one cuz im not of age)
@@EpikArms I've sent Element Optics and email asking if they're planning on manufacturing a parallax wheel. Also recently keep seeing these WestHunter scopes appearing in my ebay searches. Don't suppose you could review this brand of scope to see if they're any good? Here's a link to one of them, a super cheep first focal plane scope. .... @@EpikArms I've received a response from Element optics stating: Thank you for the email and your support of Element Optics we greatly do appreciate it. We are working on a really cool concept for a side wheel that will be available for all of our models. We are hoping to be able to bring them to the market later this year. As soon as we do we will have them on the webpage. I hope this helps and again thank you for the support.
Not really an honest and fair review because there was no mention of what comes with these scopes. I bought the Vortex SE because it comes with the sunshade, throw lever, scope caps. From what i`m seeing with the Element Titan, you`re only getting just the scope in a box. I was also able to compare the glass between these 2 scopes, SE hands down, was more crisp and sharper. As for the "tactikool" turrets, to many people get hung up on that, and its just to ridiculous actually. Louder isn`t always better.
Thanks for sharing your feedback in the comments. It's good for potential buyers to get a different opinion, which is what I want out of the comments section even if it doesn't parrot what I'm saying. Regarding throw levers while they come with the optics they are insignificant in price to buy sepperrately online, thats typically why i dont bring it up so much. For example like when scopes come with rings, only on one occasion have i seen that they were decent in other occasions they were the 5$ chinese rings. Thanks for the feedback!
79 / 5000 Translation results Hi Do you recommend Titan Bracalibre 308 element camera, Yvertex Viper psd Gen To volume_up content_copy share star_border
Vortex hand down,Element heavy piece of crap, izlt is just not in league with Vortex, mushy turrets, bad reticle, mediocre glass at more then 16x,quality control low...have both btw
hello, if you had to choose between element titan 5-25x56 or continental vector 4-24x56 ppf for a pcp firing range up to 200m which would be better? Thank you
The Continental 34mm 4-24x56 is a good deal when it's on sale for $429 like just recently at Dvor. It might still be on sale now if it hasn't already expired. I wouldn't buy any Element brand of scopes. Their prices don't justify their actual scope models compared to other better and cheaper brands available.
The Athlon Midas Tac 6-24x50 at $500 - $600 is far superior compared to the Element Titan in every possible way. It's lighter, 30mm with 85moa adjustment vs heavy Titan's 34mm with 90moa which is really unacceptable for a 34mm tube and Athon Midas Tac has superior glass and turrets.
