Loved this deck so much i decided to build one heavily inspired on it. Got a notification saying that this deck would rotate out in september. Spent about 10 minutes looking at each individual spell and thought i had solved it with the m19 shocks. Turns out it's the mana base that will rotate.

I feel like everyone either play Esper, or hates Esper. Aggro and ramp is FUN, so I see Elementals becoming really big if it can overrun Esper. I bet it struggles against mono red, but I'm curious to see it go against Bant/Simic decks and white weenies.

I'm playing basically this same deck but with 2 Multani because he is a 0/0 in the yard so Awakener gets it by default and it is usually a 6/6 or bigger with trample.

Every deck has their weaknesses. If you find yourself running into a bunch of mono red consider a more responsive varient with lightning strikes and an icon or two. Icon pushes your elementals out of range of chainwhirler

This deck is all i see on ladder right now. The game has become so toxic to play these days I'm about to give it up. Just see the same thing over and over again is about the most boring thing in the world to me. If I wanted to do that I would just play spades.

I know right? MTG is about making your very own deck. There not so much to do in game since specific decks work in one way only but still people don't even try to make their own decks, they just go for meta for easy wins and that's it.

I mean, doesn't it just result in a draw unless you can remove your own polyraptor at instant speed before the damage is dealt? You can't break the loop otherwise and you just draw.

@@DoctorFireFarts oh for sure have a way to break the loop, but that wouldn't be killing the Polyraptor - you might not even need to kill the Marauding Raptor. Root snare would be the obvious choice in Gruul, but means you can't go in with the HUGE Marauding Raptor you just got, although you still have an army of Polys. A sneaky option is splashing white to use Gods Willing or Healing Grace. Naya also opens up options like Kinjalli's Caller, Zacama, Baffling End etc, not to mention nice Enrage engines like Trapdoor and Bellowing.
