-smiles- "Don't hate us." I love that Wade's family is ignorant of Fire culture, but are self aware about that fact and try to be gracious hosts. Also, Ember just going thousand yard stare when the whole family is bawling their eyes out, compared to her own much more stoic family.

I mean, when the city where the film takes place in is just the title plus city, it makes it feel as if the script was never completed and they stuck with a placeholder from my dnd session prep. Might try this but not in the cinema Not trying to trash Disney films, or the premise, just a minor worldbuilding gripe

Anyone else feel like they're marketing this enough? I mean, I was game with the concept idea. I was going to watch it just for the fire and water relationship plot alone. And yeah, I guess some greater threat will make it interesting, but it's starting to give us too much information in my opinion
