Without the Salvatore's over-protective freak-controling behaviour , Elena always been. Such an interesting character , you could see it by her interactions with the mikaelsons and others , if it wasn't for stefan between them from the beginning , her and Rebekah could have been the best of friends(hated the backstabbing shit even tho it was to protect her brother u g h,) she stood up to Klaus every time she met him , made deals with Elijah (deals that could ve worked so well if it wasn't for Damon's volatile personality) and kol loved her personality ! She's smart , strategic , a doctor and loving with her friends, even the everyone's saving me wasn't really her fault since she never asked for it and always tried to find a way to them from sacrificing themselves on her account, lost her family one after the other even tho she tried hard to keep each one alive (that is enough to kill a person lbr) + Nina's outstanding acting and explosive chemistry with the whole crew were brilliant to watch ! And guess what ?? I'm not even an Elena Stan lmaooo

Especially with Nina's outstanding acting and her explosive chemistry with the mikaelsons' actors !! (Joseph, Daniel, claire, Nate, all of them lbr ) Don't even start me on how smart, strategic and interesting character Elena gets without the Salvatore's over-protective, freak-controling behaviour (they always had to stop her plans or accidentally ruin it because of jealousy or Damon's volatile personality) !!

Also moon moon (Hayley) failed as a character, Mary sue-d , plot armoured, rewritten backstories every now and then , play victim when is actually the one at fault (led twelve hybrids to slaughter, her friends, and called Tyler , the one she cooperated in his mother's death, a hypocrite and backstabber, genocide of witches, giving Celeste crucial information on Elijah and his family while living at their house, insulting Klaus for taking their child because SHE took it away first and to an unsafe place while in danger at that) , fake feminism, human incubator for two seasons straight, starting off so wrong(hate sex drunken one night stand ? Knowing that it is Katherine that send her there BC she was hers and Shane's puppet) , forced down our throats romance, Hayley's diaries in lieu of the originals and as much as i love pheobe..awful acting/emoting from the actress !
