WOW! Loved every minute of this duet. Don't often say this, but I would drop the cash for a ticket to see either one of these wonderful artists. I wish them both well in their careers.
Pinkerton.
Tenor take a bow great ring and warmth to his voice and plenty of power and equally matched by a lovely voiced soprano one of the better versions I've ever heard and I'm comparing them to some of the greats
Quality rendition. Sound a bit "dodgy" tho. Pinkertons part of the duet is so beautiful you can almost forget that he's such a "rat". Burton and Calenos very good. Acting first rate too.
Very average and boring . No wonder I have to look to the great singers of the past when this type of dull performance is all that's on offer . How spoiled audiences were to hear the glorious sound of Renata Tebaldi and Franco Corelli in these roles ..
I disagree wholeheartedly. Look at the other comments, which, in my eyes, are far more accurate. The modern singers are the equal of the past "greats", and I speak as a war baby.
