I am on the Elephant's side. We have abused animals and encroached on their land and killed many animals to extinction. I would never go on a Safari. How would you like to be only limited to a fenced area (not be able to roam free)and have people gawk and point at you and take pictures. Think about it.

As soon as I saw the video title I already knew that it was some ignorant, barbaric tourists who agitated the elephant. I have been on at least 16 safaris. We had zero incidents with the animals because everyone abided by the rules and the driver's instructions, and we all respected the animals.

Humans need to keep away from elephant. Thank God no one was harmed

I was on safari in Pilanesburg South Africa 10 years ago, and our truck was charged by an elephant. The elephant was behind us and the safari driver gunned the engine to get away. We were taken by surprise. The elephant gave chase for about 15 seconds but then turned around and went back to his starting point when he was satisfied we were departing his area. I nearly crapped my pants.

Maybe the elephant 🐘 wanted his private time and the humans were invading it. Clearly, he wasn’t in the mood for paparazzi! 😂🤣😂🥹 👩🏽

It is also breeding season and the males are overly aggressive this time of year. On one of the watering hole live streams two days ago, a male walked up to a giraffe drinking at the watering hole and out of nowhere disemboweled it.

The tourists fault,this is the elephants domain.

This happened to me I was studying in South Africa & our night tour crossed paths w/ a juvenile elephant. When this happens the drivers rev the engine and do exactly what you see here to make themselves look bigger. There is a crisis in the parks there w/ male elephants because they are a Matriarchal animal & when the females are poached the males run rampant and form "gangs". Part of their aggression stems from levels of Testosterone spiking w/out the female counter balance. Another thing an aggressive elephant will do is sway back and forth.

😂😂 The so called zoology expert 's advice on elephants is trash and will get you killed. I lived in a place called Nottingham in Zimbabwe, its pretty much an elephant city. Never ever challenge a horny bull, or else you will get killed. Unless of cause you have been completely cornered and have no space to run, in that case, that's when you need to make as much noise as possible. However, this is just a gamble and cannot guarantee your safety. The best advice is to run for your dear life, whenever an opportunity presents itself. Even the African bushmen who have more practical experience with wild elephants know this.

I know the park. There is nowhere to run. They were conered in a lake viewing deck, and the elephant stood at the parking exit. They might have been there a while. You can be there an hour waiting for an elephant to finish eating or taking shelter from the sun. Meanwhile, everyone is on the clock.
