Thank God for ENP & all the organizations like Gentle Giants and private sponsors so that Lek and her dedicated loving team can continue to save as many lives as possible.
Stay blessed hope you have a very healthy life as who will look after these beautiful giants they must be really blessing you!! Pls don’t give up and rescue more of these ellies 🙏
You are free now precious girl! I couldn't help crying when the previous owner was talking about how much she had to walk with a serious injury! May she heal mentally & physically quickly! God bless all involved in her rescue!
Thank goodness she is free of that chain. So very sad to see that injury too, poor girl. A new life for her at the Park. I’m glad the owner did the right thing. Keep us updated please.
I love how she goes straight for the water. This little Elly will now be able to live the life she was meant to have. The freedom of movement must be incredibly exciting for them after being chained all their lives. Wishing her a long, happy life with new beginnings and a new family. We'll done to all involved, you are all amazing ❤🐘
Thank you Donnie & Bennie for transporting this deserving ellie to freedom and thanks to your moms for donating so ChuJai could be free. I’m really happy for her to be able to enjoy freedom & the good life at ENP!! 💖🐘
On her behalf, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK GOODNESS FOR YOU! 😊🥰. Many blessings to ALL OF YOU that have helped this BEAUTIFUL Elephant. I HOPE you CONTINUE to do this for others in DESPERATE NEED. PLEASE, PLEASE, have her leg ✔️’d, as I’m SURE it’s TREMENDOUSLY PAINFUL 😖
Thank you to all involved. Chu Jai is beautiful and deserves to live the rest of her life comfortable and happy. I look forward to seeing her progress. Improved health with the right care, making friends, and walking free. Thank you
🫶🏻🙌🏻 THANK YOU, to Donnie & Bernie’s Mum’s, I salute you both🫡, for clearly bringing up your two fine young men, with empathy, compassion & respect that should be instilled in ALL we humans!👏🏻🤜🏻🤛🏾🤝
God bless them and their moms for getting money to rescue 🙏..this is what young folks need to see and experience to change the world after all the future world is theirs 🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤❤❤
Laughing...'owner' is laughing... pos, he would still be abusing this sentient creature if it wasn't for c*vid. And now that the borders are opening... let's pray that tourists will make compassionate choices and NOT RIDE ELEPHANTS or be a part of elephant street begging or circuses. Isolation from their families, ritualistic beatings in the 'crush', shredding of ears, filthy conditions, chains! And the street begging elephants get deprived of water, so they don't urinate on the street. Can you imagine depriving and elephant or any animal of water?????????? I'm not an extraordinary person like Lek.... decade after decade being in the presence of evil and she retains peace and love in her heart. I've only watched the videos of the brutal torture that these 'owners' do to not just elephants...many animals...and I have nothing but disdain ....they keep up with their evil twisted ways. Thank you Lek Chailert for your dedication to your dream, Education and your loving soul light. - - - “Until every one of us understands that elephants should be respected and not treated as our slaves, I will not rest - I will fight for them,” ~~~Saengduean Lek Chailert 🙏🏼🙏🏼🌻 🌏🕉
And for anyone shocked to see how 'calm' she is.... that's called beaten and tortured years and years and years into submission. Her spirit is broken. ENP, love and peace is helping her now. 'says goodbye to owner'.... more like says GOOD RIDDANCE TO 'OWNER'!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pos...all of them ..pos.
🇦🇺🦘🐨🐘💘😭 Ditto of your every word🤝 Not only laughing about his cruelty, but figured it a JOKE, that he plucked out her PRECIOUS tail hair to sell‼️👹🤯😤 Such cruel ignorance not to realise, or know, that those few hairs are VITAL for playing a part of an Elephant’s defence against mosquitoes & ticks that cause them pain & great irritation…constantly‼️
@@hattiethorpe5957 yes, forgot in my fury to add that vile, cruel, painful indignity done to her tail. Thank you for saying that. The pure darkness in someone's soul to commit acts of sick, twisted, brutality like this runs very deep. Treating a living creature like a 'thing' to be literally taken apart in both body and mind is VICIOUS and d*monic. period. pos....all of them....pos
@@cherylb6755 Yes, Darrick's in the first video feeding bananas to her on the right edge of the screen when Lek was talking (at the beginning of that other video), and also in this video, working with the volunteers in how to build the wood-supports for the interior of the truck, and in the arrival video, waving upon their arrival from the back of the truck, and at the end, standing with folded arms on the left of the screen, talking to the volunteers.
@@cacatr4495~ Thank you! I’ll be checking the videos out again tomorrow on my computer. I find their love - of life, for others, for animals, for elephants - especially Lek, evokes something in me I cannot articulate. Awe? Reverence? I need that feeling these days. Thank you again. I really do appreciate your saying what you did.

They don't care. They get to experience "Thailand" and they paid good money for it. They are a good portion of the blame while the other half are the greedy b@st@rds, despite the need for money, are willing to throw away their humanity by destroying other lives for their gain. I couldn't help but chuckle how the slaver...I mean owner claimed to want what's best for the elephant yet he was the one who bought the elephant and had it chained and further enslaved despite the injury for profit. And he only sold her because of COVID that caused him to lose money, and the elephant was costing him money instead of gaining him profit. Disgusting! If it wasn't for the greed of squeezing a bit more from the sale, the man would have just murdered the poor elephant instead of selling it away to a sanctuary.
Wow guys! Amazing rescue for this beautiful girl. I pray she heals from her terrible injuries & gets to stay at ENP for the rest of her life where she will feel freedom, comfort, friends, love, happiness, joy & yummy food! ❤🙏🐘 It really concerns me that alot of elephants are being given up by their (evil) owners just because covid came along....what happens when borders are reopened??? These people don't care about elephants, just themselves & the money they make out of them. I wonder how they'd feel if their kids were taken from them & physically, mentally, emotionally & spiritually brutalized & treated like slaves.....😡
Their kids are the ones they have been trying to feed and clothe. In the main they are not evil, just trying to stay alive with little education and few resources. You can't judge these people by your standards, they don't have your advantages.
@@MirlitronOne There is such a thing as Conscience, and it's been given to every man. It's what allows a person to know Right from Wrong, and these people know that abuse and brutality is wrong, immoral, unethical. Albeit people may have lacking education and resources, they *know that brutality is *wrong. There are no excuses.
Bless her precious heart. At least COVID was good for some elephants. The elephants that previous owners "loved" so much have got to go when they cease to bring money in.
TQVM. Love to see elephant get down of the truck upon arrival at ENP and also board on the truck when they are rescued. It's very emotional for me. And some others too u guess. My tears came when I see their first step to freedom. TQVM to the donor and the whole team who make this happen. TQ TQ TQVM. Godbless. TQ Lek and Darrick and all your team and the volunteers. People eat food produced from factory farms every day, and most are completely ok with those animals' suffering -- or pretend it's not happening. This guy's not a "sicko," whatever that even means, anymore than you are.
@@camez2345 Most shoppers don't know or realize that factory farm animals are suffering. They're not educated, they don't think about it. The owners of these elephants actively and personally inflict torture, such that they *know they are doing it, while the shopper largely doesn't know. One can educate them, but it's not advertized such that they understand. When they say that someone is a sicko, they mean that they aren't right in the head, and truth is, that kind of personal brutality is the result of corrupted neurology. It is understood that you're trying to bring attention to shoppers that consume animals that it's not okay, that animals suffer, that they are actively contributing to an abusive industry. It is good that you are trying to educate them. But there are differences between unknowingly supporting something and doing it yourself. Actively commiting deadly brutality is an actual ill act.
Very touching to watch. It makes me angry to see how the elephants are treated in trekking, begging, and logging. People in SE Asia have learned cruelty and passed it down for generations. Their eyes are closed to the suffering. I don’t think they mean to be cruel. They do it to make a living. Lek is trying to open their eyes and show them a better way to live with elephants in love and kindness. I wish all good things for her, her helpers, and the elephants.
@@Jude300c There have been significant changes in all the elephant-camps that have converted over to Lek's model of Love, and some of them can be seen in the middle of my ENP playlist.
Thanks to Donnie & Bennie and your mothers for nobility and help to a wonderful soul. The owner of Chu Jai is a cruel and a disgusting monster. He's not even ashamed to show his face. Was he once a human before? Where do individuals without a soul come from?
I am so grateful you made the long journey with the beautiful elephant and that you treated her so kindly I pray she is hea6of her back leg and that she has a great happy peaceful life with lots of love shown to her no riding her and that she makes friends with the other elephants God Bless you all thank you so very much.
There *will be more updates on her, if you keep watching all 3 of their channels you will see them: Elephant Nature Park channel, ElephantNews channel, EleFlix channel.
Is her hip causing pain? Will she be able to get it fixed? She looked so happy in the truck with her mouth open and her trunk hanging off the side. I hour she has a great life from here on out. ❤️
@@harrynac6017 do you think they can give her something for the pain or physical therapy? Like we give my dog meds for her arthritis. Doggie ibuprofen and doggie gabepentin...
@@emilyrowley6169 Yeah, I heard people talking about painkillers with elephants (I don't know much about elephant medicine), and bathing is always nice, you're lighter in water. She almost ran to the water 😁 I think she's gonna have a good time.
@@emilyrowley6169 ENP has a therapy pool that infirmed elephants can use every day to aid in their healing, and when it's needed, I understand they do administer pain-meds. One of the things that happens with elephants is that by being chained, they are not allowed to walk, so their leg muscles atrophy, they grow weak, which is a real problem for carrying their tonnage. Sometimes before they can walk much, they have to strengthen those muscles, so that's where the therapy pool comes in, because the bouyancy provided by the water allows them to strengthen their legs without the stress, dangers of falling or the pain of pressure. It helps a great deal, and once those muscles are able to support their legs and weight, then they can walk (more) like elephants were designed to do. Another issue is that some (a lot) of elephants in captivity are/were kept/chained on concrete floors, which damages their feet tremendously, due to the vast pressures of their weight pressed against hard concrete. Foot damage is a leading cause of death in captive elephants, so it's a major issue and one of the chief focuses of recovery there at ENP. Soft ground provides them cushion under their weight, and that's what they walk and live on there. These rescued elephants have so many damages, and Lek's focus is their healing, both physically and mentally/emotionally, to reintroduce them back into the herd-life which provides them with their greatest healing. If you're new here, feel free to learn more by seeing my ENP playlist, it's organized, educational, high-quality, begins with interviews with Lek, the founder, shows their goals and projects, beautiful videos of the elephants, and is limited in length, so as not to be an endless playlist. The written description of the playlist also offers more information. ENP is a place of heart. (Some of us have been at these channels for many years; it's a place that does great work.)💙
I felt very angry at the owner when I heard him speak. Even though the Elephant had a broken hip, she was expected to work doing 50 to 60 rides a day and when COVID hit and no more rides 'he cut of the tail hair to sell it for money'. That was when my anger broke out. He said it as if that was HIS bottom moment! Oooooo! My teeth are nashing. All this while watching HIS Elephant rock side to side on a chain as they do after long periods, lets say maybe 50 BLOODY YEARS! Time to sign off before I brake my phone .... again. 🤣🇭🇲🤗🤗🤗. God bless him and me as well! What a world I live in. Cya!
They don't cut the tail-hair off, they pull it out by the roots, which involves pain to the elephant, and such that it won't grow back, and such that when they swing their tail and accidentally hit themselves, it stings like a whip because it has no cushion of hair. (Word to the wise, this is also how Cashmere and Angora are "harvested" to make sweaters and scarves, caps, socks and gloves, by plucking the hair out of the animal by the roots, such that many animals freeze to death in the winter, because their winter hair is of "better quality" (warmer, softer) and brings a higher price, but winter is when these animals most need their coats of hair, that they are forced to be without for the Cashmere and Angora industries. When hair is plucked out of animals, the animals are screaming constantly, and bald when the hair is gone. It means death to many animals, but people keep right on buying angora or cashmere socks, sweaters, scarves, gloves, caps, without a care and without learning what their purchases mean.)
@@robbie8142 Often times, I do spread words of encouragement; if you read all the comments you would know that. You may not realize this, but education is Lek's #1 priority, because without it, things can't change. I share educational information that people should know. Such things are painful to learn, but there is no substitute for learning the truth. Without it, we can't change things. @@roseM. If people everywhere stopped buying cashmere and angora items, the market for it would fail, and the industry would stop, and that torture would cease. That's the power of people knowing; that's how important it is to inform others. As Lek expressed, people want information to not be spoken, and people have hated Lek for telling of the vile abuses against elephants, but regardless of who informs others, and regardless of the similar information, they condemn the truth-teller. You know those massively powerful statements of heart-wisdom in Lek's interviews? I was listening to those again this morning, as I do from time to time, because they do the heart good, they are so crucially important. That's a Love that's vital to practice, not always easy for sure, but vital just the same. Thank you for your shared thoughts.

I know it is painful to learn these things, but people need to know. When we watch Lek's interview-videos at the front of my ENP playlist, we learn Lek's heart-wisdom that we never otherwise hear in ENP videos, as those interviews are on other channels. What Lek explains there is powerful, enlightening and inspiring. There are many statements that Lek makes in those that are well-worth repeating, but I can't quote them verbatim. One thing that Lek expresses is that education is priority, and that is the purpose of the volunteer program, so that they will share with others what they learned about the plight of the Asian elephant. I take to heart Lek's priority of education, which is why I compiled the playlist to share with my subscribers, so they in turn would learn (and they have), and I share pieces of edu-information that can help us all make changes; it's the support I give.
People should be put in prison for the hateful way they treat these beautiful elephants! Thank you to all that helped free her from bondage. You are angels!
So, she had to carry people on 50-60 rounds a day with an injured leg? 😡 and then be chained after that and with Covid, under fed? Poor thing. It is just so appalling what these poor elephants go through. Thank you Everyone involved with the rescue. I just hope these owners don’t go out and buy another elephant when times are better.
Working elephants are always underfed, principally because they are working so many hours that they are supposed to be eating, so they don't have time enough to eat nearly as much as they need. Also, elephant-industry mahouts withhold food and water so the elephant won't defecate or urinate at the wrong place or time, like while performing or street-begging or in a temple. People might not realize there are single elephants kept in temples, for "religious" purposes. To withhold water can damage the kidneys, and under most circumstances, working elephants are underweight.
Nobody should on elephant or any other wild animals used in abuse them like a subject and then threw them out when they are sick or make a new business for those bastards because they’re not human they are not !!!
Lek was instrumental in the first-ever elephant-protection-law coming into being in Thailand in 2014. I understand that it is beginning to be enforced.
Those first steps of freedom ....so much promise for her new life, without chains and tourists on her back. May she know happiness and good health all remaining the days of her life. Thank you, ENP, Lek, and all those who helped free her.
*education: it's Lek's top priority, see Lek's interview-videos at the front of my ENP playlist. Lek explains so much, people would have a much better view just by listening to Lek share.
You are all amazing. I would of told that ex owner if he ever wants to make money with elles again then he better build a elephant friendly camp. He shoukd be required to spend a say at Leks camp. It's nice to see the love people have and what they will go thro to save theses beautiful animal. That's why we must open up are pocket books and use the covid pandemic to are advantage to save as many elephant as we can. And encourage other elephant owners to change. 💜
You probably know (but maybe others don't) that Lek invites elephant-camp owners to ENP to see how they can relate differently to elephants, inviting them to learn how, and works with them if they are interested and willing, even investing in them if they are willing to commit to Lek's terms of proper and respectful treatment and handling standards. There are elephant-camp owners that have made the conversion as a result, and some of these projects are featured in the middle of my ENP playlist.
This covid 💩 had at least one thing it was good for!! Her!! She got found out or told about and got out of HELL and away from her so called owner, that didn't properly care for her!! Thank you young men, for being a HUGE part of her rescue ❤️
This people, who are elephant's owners, usually are ignorant people. No sensibility, no pity only want money through using a poor animal. It's disgusting!
Didn't the owner notice the four deep indentations in the ground where the elephant stood 24/7? Did she EVER get to lay down and take some of the pressure off her hip? I'm so glad she ended up in the sanctuary where she could be properly treated.
Sad that the owner was willing to sell her tail hair. It will not grow back, and elephants use it to swat away insects, and other things. Hope her internal and external injuries heal quickly.
