This is animal cruelty all the way dear God the poor baby elephant the mental and physical torture they put it through is cruel Would these men allow their own children to be treated like the baby elephant I don't think do They don't seem to feel any compassion for the animal do they love their own children but torture a poor animal without any compassion
This is how elephants were trained since the first time we used them for work. For these people this is love, because they are culturally brain washed, their parents and the parents of their parents and before, see this as a good thing, as a kid going to school, they are not gonna like that, but it's good for them. You can't change their minds, they truly love their elephants and treat them how they were taught to treat them. You will see these same men crying when their elephants die. Its weird considering how they train them, but its because they can't see. We from the outside can clearly see this is not good, but it's hard to find a solution when families have been sustaining themselves using elephants for generations now. Idk what a good solution there is.
Animal cruelty. If tourists weren't so keen on riding elephants and the logging industry didn't exist, there would be no need to "train" (and I use this term loosely) them.
