ELEPHANTS GOT TALENT THAILAND..  

Yeah this might look cute to the public but I dare you to go look at how these folks train these elephants! They are stabbed and prodded with electric if the owner has a prod, and they are tied up by each leg for weeks at a time " taming reasons" and beat inside a frame their tied to so they cant run away. And these are babies they do this to! I'm not gonna say what else because its extremely graphic. But i guarantee most that do see the training won't ever have anything else to do with elephant entertainment!!! Go to a sanctuary for elephants and give them your money. You can interact with those elephants and you can play with them and feed them and really help these beautiful creatures! Your money actually goes to supporting the elephants they rescue from these types of industries. Look for the lady who sings elephants to sleep in Thailand. She has a sanctuary for elephants and she is absolutely wonderful. If you were to see elephants doing tricks and playing football in the wild I wouldn't say a word but you don't. All living things deserve respect and shouldn't be forced to do tricks for tourists or begging or doing treks. Thats no way to live! Please folks start today and make a difference! Hoping for a better tomorrow isn't helping, its time to act. Nobody is gonna do it for us, we must fix what we broke togather. Supply and demand. They have the supply and we have the money. Divert it from entertainment and put it towards saving a life. To start all you do is not go see these types of show's. Then if you really care financially support a sanctuary of your choosing. If you are really sincere in showimg you care hop on a plane and go help volunteer and physically save a life that desperately needs your help. It's time to show the world its worth saving!

Atleast they taking care of the elephant well. I do not see anything wrong with that. On the other video I have seen the elephats are in the park. They did not do nothing just eating too much. and they are getting heavy, that are no good either.

Tourist enjoy the play elephant don't enjoy performing those tricks . They have to go through hardships and pain to learn and keep performing the same . Tourist should instead go to rescue centre and sanctuary were they are kept wild and tourist only feed and gave bath to elephants

I don't doubt that there are elephant owners who are abusive but not all of them are like that; there are also owners who treat their elephants very well and genuinely care for their well-being. Since domesticated elephants are no longer needed for farming due to advanced farming machines, they have to earn their keep some other way because it costs a lot of money to feed and provide them with veterinary care. And its also much less strain on the elephants to give a few rides a day and do some simple tricks in a show then doing hard physical labor like farm work and logging which can be extremely dangerous.

Great video. I feel that the elephants were really enjoying themselves. I did not detect anything that might have been injurious to these magnificent creatures. They gave a lot of joy to the spectators and I only wish that I could have been there myself. They are wonderful creatures and deserve the highest regard from us.

Even as a kid I never liked the zoo nor the animal circus, in fact, I hate the circus. I thought I was weird, because most of the kids I knew liked it but I didn't... I always wonder why are the animals in prison? what kind of crime have they committed to be put behind cold bars their entire life? When I grew up, I understood. They are there because, like the bars, humans have cold hearts.

Totally hideous to see these magnificent creatures being forced into performing tricks for human amusement. To get them to do this, they will have been starved, tortured and kept chained for weeks. When they have finished their tricks, they will be kept so tightly chained they can hardly move. Notice the mahouts are carrying bullhooks to remind the elephant what will happen if they don't behave. Release them to a sanctuary where they can be elephants!! There are places in Thailand where you can walk with elephants in their natural surroundings.

Well, for some location of Thailand. Elephant is pet. Like dogs or cats in your home. Human and Elephant live together. They are friends and family. This show is the same as dog show. Like dog can give you its hand, bring stick back to you after you throw it away. If this is tortured. You tortured your dogs too. Sorry for my english. It is not my native language.

OMG- I'm sure the audience has no clue how those trainers got the elephants to do all those silly stupid tricks!! The tortur, the fear!! So sad! I bet the audience would be just as excited and entertained watching the heard (group) of elephants just act natural among themselves. Elephants can be funny and smart by just being elephants!!! Oooh, the elephant on the tricycle was sick! Boooo!

I have traveled to Thailand for many years and have seen a lot of what the residents do to make money. Please to all visitors in Thailand, do not ride elephants and do not attend elephant shows, this is pure animal cruelty

This type of tourism needs to stop. Riding an elephant is one thing, but making elephants act like this is not natural. There's a lot of brutality behind the scenes to force elephants to act like this.
