On Our 15th annual College Exposure Bus Tour @smsbacademy National College Showcase camp we had 7 kid pick up offers..
We are just on the sideline talking to coaches and networking. This game is truly about relationships.
This is the missing piece. You have to have an advocate for the student to get noticed. @kallenmartinez was hurt he could not even participate, but still got his 1st offer.
I see so many kids get looked over not because of talent but because they don't know where to go or have any relationships with College coaches.
I also see kids hop on the Bandwagon with people who they think have connections but really don't. You have to build on your own with the right people and get exposure..
This camp is 1 of the only camps @smsbacademy where you can actually meet and talk to the decision makers..
Kids you can train all day all you want but if your “Trainer” or “Coach” does not have real relationships it will be an uphill battle..
