Totally found this by accident while looking up tutorial on how to play for our up coming easter service, but recognized you instantly. Good to you see making guitar tutorials David. Thanks for inspiring me back in the day. *Jonah, worship leader at NEO Church 2022
Thank you for that break down. Seriously appreciated! In case it helps anyone else, I found that playing this arrangement on open chords in EM/C#m (capo 1) works well too. Not exactly the same sound, but very similar and a bit easier for me, personally. You saved my bacon, man. Very nice tutorial!
A dash of EQ and a smidgen of reverb with a touch of compression...all of Garageband...believe it or not 😇. I took some mid frequency out on my onboard EQ also (on the guitar itself)
You could play the same chords without the capo to lower it by 3 half-steps. If you're familiar with the Nashville Number System, Elevation has a chart that you can use to play in any key you'd like: www.elevationworship.com/music/lion (click the link, then click "Numbers")
