Lol, these are some of the funniest elevators fails out there. Now I think that bump caused it to activate. Besides that, this is a beautiful elevator.

This happened to me about a year ago. I thought a security guard saw me filming and called the elevator. It scared the crap out of me.

Wow that was strange, I’ve had emergency phones on elevators pickup for telemarketers before, but definitely not as strange as it dialing itself to the help desk. Glad you got it on video.

SAMEE I was at my grandma's and I was grabbing her wallet from her apartment and when I was going down the elevator it started ringing and apparently Medicare had called the elevator 🤦

I might be totally wrong here but the elevator went up a bit first when you pressed the lower floor. I wonder if the overshoot switch is connected to the phone somehow?

When I first rode it, it went up like this but way worse, so I don't think that's what causes it. I was here with someone else on an different day and it activated randomly after riding it two times. I was just about to close the door and it went off.
