Elevator Shaft, Bootleg Canyon Downhill MTB 

Elevator Shaft Downhill mountain bike trail at Bootleg Canyon bike park in Boulder City, NV (about half an hour outside of Vegas).
Bootleg Canyon is an amazing and unique place to ride. The terrain is unforgiving, the runs often steep and grip can be in short supply, depending on which line you choose.
Elevator Shaft is the only double black that starts up next to the VOR. Access it by pushing up the paved, but gated off road. Like most of the double black trails there, it's steep, loose, off camber and tech af. If you are capable of riding the other DH trails there, you'll be fine on Shaft.
We finish this run at a feature called The Hourglass, which is a steep and narrow chute. In this video we take the easier line; the more difficult line goes over the rock I'm standing on to film Mike. Had I done another run there that day, I'd have taken a shot at that line (sadly, I'd run out of talent not long after this was shot, but that'll be another video...).
