I don't buy that the raid happened during daytime because of an imminent threat, instead of nighttime as usual to reduce bystander involvement. I think the israelis did that intentionally to stir up trouble. they have done that several times undeniably in recent years, like the multiple times they attacked people inside the al aqsa mosque, even during prayer time, using batons, concussion grenades and teargas inside the prayer hall, or that other time when they attacked the funeral procession of the palestinian journalist they killed (shireen abu-akleh), and even beat the people carrying the casket. these are israeli security forces deliberately escalating violence in order to strengthen the far right and justify more oppressive policies against palestinians, and an acceleration of the annexation of the west bank and an apartheid state with the west bank palestinians living inside israel without citizenship.
