www.jbcsports.co.uk Here's a video of Eley ammo testing. I wanted to find out if there was any real difference in the Ammo. Will you get better results by spending more? Will there be differences because of the rifle used?
Great shooting since it's OFFHAND! And it's 20 yards! That's very good! Actually, that's the first time I've ever seen anybody shooting so well offhand from 20 yards! I cannot even do it from 15 yards offhand! Impressive, impressive!👍👍👍👍👍
I don see how you can compare 20 Yds to 100 Yds, especially with the 20 Yds shot off-hand and the 100 yds shot supported. Also, a 10 shot group is not equivalent to the best 10 of 20.
...final got around to testing the Eley Action in 40 and 42gn @100 yards in my Target Tactical 10/22 and the heavier bullet was very accurate, sub-MoA for 10 rounds on several targets
Hi, the 457 LRP is a great rifle, I haven't tinkered with it too much. The trigger is crisp but a little on the heavy side. This can be adjusted by removing the stock. The older 455 needed to have a spring kit installed to lighten the pull weight so the ability to adjust the weight on the 457 without needing extra bits is very welcome. The club members who saw it like it a lot. The stock is fantastic and has 2 studs for bipod and sling as standard. The bottom of the stock is flat and facilitates benchrest shooting.
@@jbcsportsuk7591 Thats good to hear! I watched every video I could find on RU-vid about that rifle and it really seems to be great :) I've already purchased it, but I've to for my states permit to be allowed to pick it up :(
Hi, yes, I like it. I haven't been able to get to the range to shoot it further due to the UK being in a lockdown situation because of coronavirus. I need to sit down and work on the trigger as it not quite as I like it yet but overall I'm pleased with with the rifle.
@@jbcsportsuk7591 Same situation over here in germany, I got my rifle end january and only was able to shoot it once, because of the lockdown, but it shoots really great.
Thank you for this interesting video. Please note however that - Results obtained with one rifle do not extrapolate to another rifle - Results obtained at one distance do not extrapolate to another distance - Results obtained with one given set of conditions (temperature and so on) to not extrapolate to another one There is a fascinating book about rimfire rifles: "Smallbore rifles - A guide for rimfire users" by C. Rodney James PhD. It is full of fascinating informations about the humble .22LR and the rifles shooting it
