The creators of this cosmetics brand have proven three things: that products can be both affordable and good. Second, it’s so affordable price wise that most people don’t mind trying it at least once. And third, in this economy where there is no money to waste, there is no shame in buying affordable drugstore makeup. People can do without the fancy packaging. For now, what matters most is affordability, quality and performance. A win win for the consumer and a win win for the companies providing products with affordable price point. What’s not to love?

I love a lot of their products, but like you, some just don’t work for me. But that said, I am always thrilled when they release new products to try. 100% on the labeling..lol. I your honest reviews are so appreciated, especially with these more affordable brands. I love to play with different products, but after a while, we have a pretty strong stash and spending more money really isn’t necessary. I also love that they are fair trade certified, so even though they manufacture some things in PRC, they ensure that human rights are followed. Also that they give back to their communities in various ways like raising funds and awareness.

I started using castor oil on my arms and, even though it’s a little drying, I was so surprised what it did for my sun spots. I was so impressed that I’ve started using it over my upper lip where I have a lot of hyper pigmentation. It’s already working. I just use it over all the skin care on my upper lip area. Just a drop does the trick. I’ve tried everything from peels to retin a to vitamin c. Nothing works as well for me as castor oil on my skin. And I have very discolored , very dry skin. Get the cold pressed kind in a glass bottle. Like black castor oil. Marshall’s usually has it for a real good price.

I’m 54 and absolutely LOVE the camo concealer and believe me, I’ve tried a million different ones.

Love your content! I’m a big Elf fan! I’ve used the Thrive Causemetics tubing mascara when it came out years ago! Loved, love it! However, for the price, Elf’s mascara is just as good! I have all Elf’s concealers and I’m not really liking them. Too heavy and cakey! The Camo blushes are gorgeous! Blend so beautifully! Tube lipstick o face are wonderful! Lip liners are good for the price, can’t beat them! I love their Tarte dupes better than the brand, Tarte is very gloppy,if that makes sense, Elf isn’t. Thanks for the tip, about powdering side of your face to stop your hair from sticking! One of my big pet peeves! Natasha Denona concealer is my high end favorite. Catrice is my drug store favorite! The colors are great and I'm with you about the under-eye concealer. I like the Dior, but my favorite is Seint Demi, there is nothing like it. I was watching you while babysitting my 5-year-old Grandson and he wanted me to tell you you're pretty😁❤

I’ve been using the elf putty colour-correcting eye brightener. Really loving it. Kinda reminds me of Demi O1. Very luminous and just enough pigment to brighten the inner corners of my eyes

Love this video! I just found your channel and am thrilled. I’m 71 and love makeup, but don’t have much of elf. I really can’t use the concealer either. It just goes into my lines and creases. I like the Fenty beauty and the Charlotte Tilbury concealers. My hair is S&P and I love it! I have ordered directly from elf but am appalled by their extremely slow shipping.

I used to use their brow pencil and I liked it but there just isn’t much product in them…so I switched to their brow gel and love it so much more. It lasts a long time and if it starts drying out I just add a couple drops castor oil to it. It also works great as my eyeliner. So I get two products in one that way. Love it ! Thx for this video.

You've now inspired me to try the blush sticks - I have 3 or 4 colours and haven't done that yet. I guess I love the idea of them but I was worried they'd be too big to control where they go on the face and I'd make a mess. I'm 59 and just re-learning to apply makeup after years of putting on only minimal eye make up. Glad to find a pro with mature skin. This video was super helpful.

I'm new to your channel,This is the 2nd video I have watched and I subbed ! I am 75 and I love a lot of the Elf products.I used to get them at Target and sometimes Amazon, but I did my first direct order from Elf's website a few weeks ago. I love that you get free shipping if you buy several items, and two free small products also. I love your tip about powdering lightly on the sides of your face if using the gripping primer,The watermelon one I just tried for the first time,and it's lovely to use, but I hate it when wind blows my hair into the gripping. Same goes for wind blowing my hair on my lip gloss!! I think I will join their beauty club too.I also love the Holy hydration makeup melting balm. Thanks for all the great info!

Looking forward to e.l.f. summer! I use the e.l.f. camo concealer and color corrector. It settles into my fine lines a little, but so does French Face and Haus Labs. Will have to try your other favorites: Milk Makeup and Dior Forever.

I’m 53 and everything you have that worked believe it or not is what has worked for me. The concealer made my under eyes look terrible. I couldn’t even use it to spot conceal. But most of the ELF products, including skin care has been fabulous. Elf is my favorite drug store brand. My daily face is completely ELF now. Nothing else. I’m so glad that you have started getting into these drug store brands. I almost stopped watching because I felt that it was always high end that you were working with, but I am so glad that I decided to stay. And, it’s just hilarious to see you searching for that magnifying glass!😂 I love your tips and recommendations.
