@@logan7987 Sony Vegas is not a free software, and requires tons of skills to learn. I can edit videos and I download the video editor softwares from torrents but I am honest enough not to make pranks like this if this was a green screen. Moreover, green screen requires studio installation, and it's just an overlay.

If this was fake, how would the elf put the stockings on the hooks and if they actually did put string on the elf, they would have to have been really good at puppeting. I don't think this is fake. Once i wrote my elf a letter and he actually wrote back in his own writing. I knew it wasn't any of my family members because they didn't write in cursive like what he did. So, I don't think this is fake. If you think this is fake, you don't believe

I got 7 elf on the shelves, four ones and two plush ones. I'm getting another one soon, and i absolutely belive elf on the shelf is the best. Its also real. Once I was home alone and heard movement. I checked, and I saw my elf move for a split second, then it dropped.

It's a green screen. As the elf puts the stockings up, you can see the books or whatever it is on the right hand side of the cabinet kind of move as it goes by to hang it up.
