I remember when the jelly pop collection first launched! I had the highlighter, and even though it worked for my skin tone, it would separate my makeup a lot. I’m so glad they reformulated this product, because now it doesn’t separate my foundation!
I ordered the highlighter and am so excited to get it! I am so pale it’s hard for me to find highlighters that are lighter than my skin tone and it looks like this one is going to be!
I really do like how the lip oils are sheer, I can appreciate a tinted one but it feels like it’s really hard to come by a sheer lip oil that also has a formula that’s good like the ELF one.
I feel like it would go well with darker lipsticks. It could be just my opinion but i love the colour of my lips (its brownish- purpleish) shine through
The shine is rlly nice but idk if it's something I'm too excited to try. Idk if it's just the color but the lip oil looks a little pld-style lip glossy?

I want to get the makeup bag lol But I don't wear foundation so I wouldn't use the primer and the glow stick doesn't have the best reviews. So don't think I wanna pay $30 for a bag and lip oil
i think its just because so many beauty products are oriented towards lighter complexions with no consideration for darker complexions! for a very long time, and still even now, products that actually look good on all skin tones and not just lighter ones were so difficult to find! some examples are blushes, they may look pretty but on darker skin they come out as too light and ashy, or foundation which looks diverse but as soon as you reach the darker shades its extremely limited.
This is such a dismissive comment. It's obvious not every collection has to be inclusion, but like the other comment above states it's always forgetting the darker complexions people. It's a pattern that should always be called out. If the it didn't work for lighter complexions we would expect the same. Plus this is a review on someone with a medium complexion she's stating her opinion and will move on to something else.
Glad you said unpopular opinion cause brother ughhhh!! I definitely disagree inclusivity is important and people of every skin tone should be able to use a collection these makeup brands come out with whether it’s appealing to them or not. Products should be suitable for all.
