Elffor - Dra Sad (2017) (Dungeon Synth, Medieval Black Ambient) 

Well, his stuff has been improving over the years, and his fan base has adequately increased lately... I was into Elffor on and off throughout years, but only on Malkhedant was i really entranced by this band. The earlier material has a lot of those unnecessary screams he puts everywhere which is kind of off-putting if you are not really really used to it. I mean, even in BM circles, it's still kind of hard getting past those. Dra Sad 2 and this new Impious albums aren't as good though, not as much as Dra Sad, Malkhedant, or even Odolosth

@@JULIOHpsp One of the best. Elffor covers are incredible. But you will find in black metal and dungeon synth that cover art can/is outstanding. Elffor covers Are amazing, also because the overtone has a quality of other-worldly that is also expressed in many book covers for fantasy realms like Ravenloft, Dungeons/Dragons, etc. Cant explain really, but phenominal artistic form!

I WANT to live in these other-dimensional places. I feel like the music calls me.
