Thank you so much for this. I do a lot of 3D art with models but I'm bad at sculpting so this other program helps a lot. I heard you mention Sims - you're probably aware but there's a program called sim ripper that allows you to export your sims as .dae and import them into blender as models.

hi, thank you for this amazing tutorial but how do you custom your character like that? im using genesis 8 female also but there's no option like mouth shrug upper or mouth pucker etc? i can not see these options.

Wewww ladd, why are you doing all this? Diffeomorphic can import almost anything. anims, poses, full characters. It gives errors sometimes with morphs but if you ERC freeze them into one shape it always does well. I havent gotten expressions to work without exporting a base resolution OBJ rotated on X 90 degrees facing into the floor, but, if you keep the figure T posed in blender and just export an OBJ you can easily transfer expressions by 'transfering' the obj as a shape key into your figure and youll get the expression and even the eye lashes to follow it, as long as you transfer shape keys to the eye lashes.

how did u get to edit the face so drastically in daz? I'm only really able to adjust position of stuff. I see you were able to edit the size of stuff like eyes/lips. Seems my parameters are missing some stuff? Using genesis 8 female. cheers! also a hair tutorial would be killer! Keep it up! love these vids!

do you know why the eyelashes still show up very blocky for me when in blender?

Please help me with this issue., I downloaded the mesh and its split but unfortunately margins of the separate parts of the body are very visible. How do I merge them together such that the full mesh looks seamless.

After importing into the blender, the character's lips are not singled out separately. The eyes and head are separate, but the lips are connected to the head

Amazing tutorial, but I wanted to ask, how do you fix the "limit" between the face and the torso part, idk why when I'm connecting everything, the skin on the face looks way better than the one on the torso and it drives me crazy, I would like to get something seamless, I don't want to put hairs or whatever to hide it..

What can I do if daz dont give me the normal map?

Thank you so much for the Tutorial! I have try to use DAZ after watching it. I got free account. And I selected genesis 8 female. And i spent couple hour to find all parameters to change face look. But unfortunately i have not all parameters. Just few. Really. Like move eyebrows or lips a little bit. So... Maybe someone know, maybe I need install something extra addons or smth? Thank you!

Great video, but since daz doesn't have displacement and bump maps on their characters we don't know if theres a way to make them

1 min in the tutorial en you are doing changes that i cant do. If its a option that you have to pay for. Please tell in your tutorial. Im searching the web for why I can't even make the eyes or the lips bigger while you transformed the hole head. More people in the comments have ask the same question but unfortunately there is no answer.
