Quite sadly, it was not ordained that I be honored by graduating from EA. But my beautiful memories of EA have been a lifelong motivating force to do my best under any condition that might come my way. The teachers at EA had a lot to do with this, especially Wayne Replogle, our football coach. It would take a book to recite all my treasured experiences at EA. I am as ornery today as when I quarterbacked the football team, and my cherished memories will be with me always.Today, I am 94 years young, no aches or pains, no medications, bp = 125/35, 83 years of bridge, daily cross word puzzles, never watch the boob tube, writing a book on bridge bidding, trying to keep up with the grandkids, and thanking God most profusely for all the blessings that have come my way. The DNA on my mother's side has Montana relatives to 128 yoa. Among a wide variety of things, I was on anti-submarine warfare duty in the North Atlantic in WWII, and, later a professional civil engineer who became somewhat UNCIVIL after putting up with government for 45 years. May God bless all of you. Fred A. Fairbanks, '39
