That should be a suspension! You look when he did the spin-O-Rama he swung his stick. If Peterson has his head there he would of got slapped across the face, and this year when that happens that’s a suspension. So say if Peterson was say 2 feet maybe more to the right (his right) he would get hit.

in my opinion, from many years of playing hockey, you don’t exactly want to go shoulder first into the boards. what i think kreider does, is as he’s missing petterson he puts his arms out to spread the hit into more of an area so it doesn’t hurt. for example, if he went shoulder first into the boards, he could’ve torn something, dislocated his shoulder etc. instead he sticks both of his arms out to reduce the impact and hits petterson as he does it. intentional? i don’t think so. penalizable? yeah, but i don’t think he should’ve gotten the game, might’ve just been the blood, but i would’ve gave him 4 minutes. (not a rangers fan btw i’m a jets fan)

Petey has a target on his back, so much so other players are taken cheapshots at them. Matheson body slams him. Kreider throwing crazy elbows. League needs to start punishing these plays, especially on star players. As a Canuck fan, I know Petey is really the main draw for the team this season. Can't have players acting like idiots out there on the ice to try stop him.
