Why she sing so weird lately maybe it’s a tejano style.. this make me miss more Selena Quintanilla she was and will continue be la 🫅 not even Laura cáñales. Blessings to elida she still very sweet I wish her the best she looks she very humble
This is my opinion and my opinion only. Iam not going say Selena was no good. She was good very talented. But to me she didn't have the best music. It was only after she passed that her music really blew up. I mean if you keep it 💯 you know that's fact. That being said I think Selena did more bad than good for la Onda Tejano after her music blew up after passing. Because the people who started jamming her music after her passing want wasn't just Tejanos and Mexicans no more it was everybody else from other nationality's. It was good for her people but in the long run it was bad for Tejano Music. Because people then starting saying Tejano is dead when she Selena passed. People who never jammed to Tejano were saying this. I've been a Tejano fan since 1985 as a kid I jammed La Mafia. Nobody ever stops to think what iam saying. But before people try to bash me. Just let it sink in what I just said. And you will say no shit. I've been involved in La Onda for a long time and this is just my opinion.
@@evtonic3 you don't get what iam saying. But either way your opinion is your opinion and my opinion is my opinion. When you stop to look at it neutral you will see. Don't look at it like a fan of Selena or any artist for that matter. Look at it from a neutral stand.

Just like my opinion about Selena I’m a fan and I’m not going to say anything about her because her music was great she had a great talent so everything that I can say about Selena it’s good nothing bad. I like elida and Shelly but Selena had something thst call my attention more
Her vocals are starting to diminish a bit. She sings flat and sounds a bit shakey. Nonetheless, her and her band are still very talented and continue to keep Tejano alive.
@Ruben Garcia you are correct. I just heard her interview on #pvt and she talked about having covid. Another commenter mentioned she could have still been recovering.
I can't be the only one who noticed how bad she chops the lyrics and sounds like she can't sing anymore. Not only in this video but in a lot of live videos. Props to the sound engineers the musicians sound legit.
Working with Lorenzo Papo Banda (Bass Player) I learned a lot about stage presence and performance. He always made it a point not to do the typical side to side move that other Tejano artists would do traditionally.. to be in constant movement (walking around) gave us the opportunity to engage with all of the fans while performing live.. All the fans were able to see each performer that night! All musicians had an opportunity to shine!
I love Elida but she sounds out of breathe. Very nasally. When u create the songs in studio n u add effects n make her sound perfect, than u listen to her live... it's disappointing . Leave her voice more natural when recording. Like in her first 3 albums. Listen to her then n listen to a new album. Day n night
