ELIE BLEU caskets close with a characteristically silken sound and their opening lines are scarcely visible. Each of the caskets is aligned by hand, item by item, by using a small plane. As wood is a living material, this procedure is repeated over the course of several days, indeed several weeks, according to atmospheric conditions.
