Ellie Congrats ! One of the few designers that make gorgeous & flattering gowns for women ( & men ) Some of the ridiculous outfits I have seen on these runways, like Dolce, Dior & Tom Ford are just hideous and a joke. Who puts baskets on a woman’s torso? Or a hat as big as a fridge ? Or worse, completely see through on the top & bottom ? Hideous To me they disrespect women when they think we would even think of wearing hideous clothing
So true. Most of the fashion shows I watch and think WTF? Here are traditional shapes, and soft colors, none of it screaming “look at me”, but none of it boring. That’s design.
It really is an artform to not trip all over these dragging hemlines. I was so nervous for the models! The girls who look effortless are really kicking those skirts forward and then placing thier foot ~ skills.
They are not allowed to smile. Their job is to wear dresses not more. The times of Naomi, Claudia, Carla, and all the wonderful top models of the eighties are over. They were too expensive and buyers are supposed to look at the dresses not at the models.
These dresses are next level gorgeous! And generally, I think all dresses are quite hideous. I would love to borrow one for my wedding. I promise to return it in tip top shape!!

Beautiful embellishment on many of the pieces, the beige tended to wash out the models and I'm not a big fan of couture that drags the ground but all in all, spectacular. Especially loved the suits.
