Have one ,but installed a crf1000 handcap enlargers from aliexpress recently and in my case lost a lot of buffeting /turbulence , 2 happy... rider and passenger (put some paint on the treath i lost one m5 screw )
It's crazy how much of a difference it makes. My current KTM has one from the factory that is mounted below the lower triple clamp. I am surprised Honda has not fixed this as of yet!
I messaged the creator and passed on your info... If he contacts you, maybe you can explain what you need / are looking for and you guys can figure out the T7 solution!
Huge difference for me. Any video I made with the AT after this installation video you can hear the difference in my audio and can see it in the lack of camera movement. HUGE improvement.
I don't have this issue on my AT. Im sure there is some buffetting but nothing that takes away from my ride or communication. I just watched a video about com systems, I think it was fortnine, and Sena seems to be more subject to wind noise than Cardo. Last Saturday I did a 790 test ride with a buddy. My AT, his 1190, and tested 790, and no issues for either of us on all three bikes.
Great feedback. I had the same fork tunnel issue on my 2018 ATAS and my 2019 CRF1000L and it was completely solved by the Forkshield. Listen to and watch the buffeting on my AT here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rfyQSqm3Ca4.html Completely solved by the forkshield. I was blown away. On my ATAS, I did not feel the buffeting, but it completely destroyed my in helmet audio. Check that one out: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-klvX1sCw9l4.html Now, you claim about the Cardo vs. Sena... Totally agree! Thanks for watching! - Kyle Oh... how much did you LOVE the 790?
@@frostbitevinnie Yes, every R model is sold out until (from what I have been told) December! Crazy... There are hundreds of 790 Adv's (non R) sitting on dealership floors. Pretty nuts. I really like these bikes... the tech is crazy.
@@manybikes The motor was impressive! I wish on after market stuff that they could use similar hardware. Just make um all button head that take 5mm allen! Now ya gotta carry a 3mm and 4mm. Oh well. I may try and make my own. I have some thin aluminum that needs using up.
@@frostbitevinnie Good call... but watch the video I JUST NOW uploaded. The risers tweaked... and they (now) made contact with the Forkshield. Those damn rubber mounted bushings! I straightened it out... and the plastic fork shield was unscathed. An aluminum unit would have been damaged for sure. Just saying...
Interesting... Once you fix your windshield situation (check out the National Cycle Vstream) then take it off and you will be able to feel the benefit. I am confident it will go back on quickly.
@@manybikes Kinda late answer i guess, but i must agree. First thing i bought for my ATAS, and it did make a world of difference. Guess it depends on height and/or general riding position perhaps :)
