A real gritty determination about this group at the moment. Patrick Cripps has been seeing famous NFL sports psychologist Michael Gervais and I can sense Carlton are playing finals to make a statement. You can't help but feel the journey this club has been on with so much disappointment and now have finally found the winning formula even when they are not at their best. This is building up to becoming one of the most remarkable comeback stories in AFL/VFL history.
As a Blues supporter for over 60 years I’ve seen many ups and downs. Including being at the ‘79 Grand Final. I’m so happy for the young supporters. This is what following Carlton is all about. I had tears after siren went. I think this is the start of a great Carlton era. Thanks for all your fantastic work.
Mate as an interstate Carlton member living in Sydney, that was truly an amazing gift you shared. Not since the Bolton Red Flags days and I am a Tasmanian so that one hurt, have you done a video which has been so spine tingling and inspirational. Pre game build up for first 9 min was huge. the remaining 12.5 min was captivating. Thanks mate, brought I big smile from me.
You have captured perfectly the expectation the hope and the joy of our first Final in many king years . The raw emotions jump out of your work every week . Congratulations Bucky . 🙏🏼💙🏆
Great video Bucky. Loved the crippa goal and the final siren/song. I've got to make it to Melbourne one day to see it for myself. Always wondered what it was like at a game as I live in NZ.Thanks for that. Was awesome!!!
We have a army of supporters that are loyal and passionate even when we have struggled over the years they still rock up , take note AFL you need a strong Carlton!!!!!!
Flew in from Adelaide for the game, loved watching this video back and feeling a different section of the crowd. Best afl atmosphere I’ve ever been at by a mile.
Atmosphere was something else under the Shane Warne stand on level 1. Cottrell is the right place at the right time man. Credit to the swans they are a battle hardened side and have some phenomenal ball users. I just didn’t like the reception around Harry. I can understand criticism but where I was he was essentially getting ridiculed by our fans which I didn’t like. And this was before he missed that sitter also.
Goosebumps. Don't know what drew me to this channel in 2019 but it's been a pleasure riding these highs after the many, many lows with your commentary in tandem, Bucky.
Can anybody confirm that Blake acres does not do the warm up because he thinks he can't run out games as well as he would like if he depletes that energy ? He was tremendous in the last quarter so it's wise of him if he is doing that
My son & I counted all the players in the early warm-up. The only one who wasn't accounted for was Motlop who was the tactical sub. Not sure why he wasn't out there.
Can anybody tell me the odds on Melbourne v Carlton next week? [ because they want me to sign up and even when I try to join sportsbet [or others ] even when I give all my details I keep getting blocked for some technical reason] I appreciate your assistance Heath
Always a bad omen when the banner fails. Went to a complete final series in 75 where every team that lost had a banner failure.😂 Thanks Heath. Love the Vlogs.❤
I was up in Sydney and went to our last pre-season practice match at Blacktown v Sydney. I remember they cut us up and I was pissed off with us. My impression from it that stuck with me was what they had that we did not was cohesion. Despite attending our early season matches and not losing, I was still seeing a lack of cohesion in our players on field. Then when we lost 8 out of 9 matches there were no real surprise to me. sadly, as the cohesion was still not there and the shit hit the fan. Thankfully I did not listen to radio or media as for me the missing thing was cohesion. I did not need to hear the out of touch media shit storm for headlines and clickbait nonsense and over reaction from fickle fans to know what I saw in Blacktown was the issue. Nothing more and nothing less. Cohesion might not seem an interesting word but if you play a team sport it does not matter how talented each player is, if you do not have it as a collective you won't go far. I was walking to the G and missed the first quarter v Gold Coast. Then when sat down and settled for second quarter I saw my first real experience in the season of what had been missing to that point in 2023 with the players, COHESION. We finally have it as a collective on the field and it been a fun ride to see it all turn around. Been tough with all the injuries and now we lose H to concussion for next week and probably Martin too. But I just feel with that C word finally in our group, we can still go further. Finally Jack Silvagni sounds ready to go again after his knee injury v Eagles. I think he will come in up forward so will cover for H out but Martin replacement will be harder to cover but we will find a way. Motlop probably goes from sub to starting in the 22 and maybe Paddy Dow or Matt Kennedy as sub. Fun to see the video view from other side of the ground. I was at ground level and was a great night to see us win our first final for so long. Car'n The Baggers for next week.
Sydney's disfunctional forward line and rebounding the footy is as bad as it gets they need to get rid of Henney they will be cellar dewellars the lame ducks of the AFL
The battle of two dysfunctional forward lines next Friday. If Carlton continue the turnovers (especially conceding cheap goals from kickouts) they will not progress!
