nowhere near his worlds finals performance. he didnt play bad, but his worlds finals was otherworldly. flamehorizoning arguably the best top of all time in all 3 games and solocarrying all 3 games lol
The only reason western teams looked even remotely good is cause of BS laneswap and tank meta, in a carry meta BB was getting solo killed on Fiora by a washed up/semi retired Nuguri playing Sejuani
Yike jumping in on Khazix and immediately dying while the guy he jumped on still had full hp was way funnier than it should be. He was foreshadowing what was about to come this series.
He's literally theshy, Getting solokilled by Jax for no fucking reason and still gapping him in lane after then dying again only to cook him again next turn
Was seeing that a lot too. It happened on their last match too. It's like they target him just so people see hey we killed the goat. But it has a different outcome faker still manages to comeback and win.
T1 is the equivalent of choosing getting mauled by wolves or jump the cliff. Either way you're gonna have a hard time, prioritizing to kill Faker means opening up to Guma/Zeus, choose to kill the rest, then Faker's gonna magically kill all your teammates. They've mastered the art of die or die
true and that also applies to Mikyx when he plays Braun in the last game. he's like a headless fly, not knowing where he should be. really funny. it's like all of them are possessed by some genie
BB got astrogapped by Zeus. First game he has last pick, counter picks and zeus 1v9s. Second game he counter picks again and Zeus carries. Third game he blinds but starts 2-0 and zeus still destroys him. Lane swap or not, counter pick or not zeus is just better player.
@@patlee4858 havent watched league prior to MSI can someone explain why lane swaps got popular all of a sudden? I kinda really don't like this meta its such a clown fest. throughout the games I kept seeing mid lane lvl 14 while bot lane can be 3 ENTIRE lvls down. The level discrepancy is INSANE
@@SStrikeFury its not a new strat. its a strat used to avoid bad laning matchups and funneling resource a bit harder and also deter certain picks in top lane
Most definitely. Do you not see how pissed Caedral was? This is probably the most biased I've ever seen him since WBG vs T1. Those editors arent going anywhere, and I dont Caedral is going to feed them tonight either.
Faker was 0-3 game 2 yet he showed how versatile he is in a pressured game. Then Game 3...OVER 5k lead with 4 drakes taken by G2. 1 Mistake from caps and everything collapsed. You can tell how way ahead T1 is when it comes to Team fights and synergy.
BB was blamed the whole series but I think Caps and Hans choked their lead. An eastern poke varus wouldve won that game, He's playing poke varus and nobody is getting damaged before the fight starts. Caps was great during the first 25 minutes but that mid lane blunder where he got caught by keria turned the game over.
yeah even though they're underperforming early game, their mid to late game is too solid. this does get taken advantage of by teams like geng and blg tho. so t1 needs to improve their early game to get back to form.
They commited everything on caps and G2 collapsed. It honestly felt like Caps was intentionally baiting hooks etc to buffer rocket jump out but T1 threw everything and the kitchen sink at his head and took him out. The 4v5 that followed was painful to watch
@@notdesmondesmond Jatt said it perfectly on the desk, G2 would have likely taken at least 1 game in game 4 (still lost the series) if caps doesn't ego standing to the side of the minions mid and they just peel over to dragon. No one warded the ivern bushes and so caps felt a false veil of safety when in reality he was doing the equivalent of face checking blind into a team on baron with no vision as an ADC/marksmen.
Zeus woke up, Oner permacamps topside, and T1 busts out new lane swap shenanigans. I feel bad for BB. G2 was the receiving end of that T1 hydrogen bomb and BB happens to be in the very front.
"T1 is crumbling." "T1 fans are annoying." Into "That death means nothing" copium. Followed by "We're fine." Then finally just arms crossed silence pouting and pissed I love it.
@@FitzgeraldStanburyWeissV don’t worry about me brother, please focus on looking after your own health. I understand it must be difficult to rewatch this series where your region and beloved team got their annual reality check
Faker IS the GOAT though. Like, yeah, I know what you mean, but that's just classic T1 fanboys... they don't take Faker at his worst, so they shouldn't pretend to like him at his best. As a LPL fan, I'll always appreciate Faker, no matter what... he's an incredible player, who has made his way through so many different metas/champs and still come out at the top. I do think Chovy is individually better, but I don't think he'll ever over-take Faker for GOAT status... I'm not even convinced that he'll win MSI yet. But, tbf, I think he might, so long as T1 and BLG play as they have done vs GenG.
Mmmh lets see NA:2nd seed eliminated by garbage team and 1 seed won 4 games out of 11 EU: 2nd seed eliminated by semi-garbage and 1 seed won 5 out of 11 games.... Pretty much the same
@@gpk560 That doesn't mean Kkoma is doing nothing to prepare the draft before the games. Just because you are not the one who picks the champs live on stage, doesn't mean there is no research or preparation before that.
@@abouttime2569 this is why its important for you to watch matches and watch the drafts instead of just spreading false info. Tom handles the draft as he helped skt win worlds last year
Honestly i wanna see an apology from the so called "experts" and "analysts" talking up G2 so much that even Peyz believed they will make it to the final?!
@@dip9995 Shit makes me laugh and smile every single time. Their egos get so massively inflated when they have 1 close series vs T1 and they think all of a sudden they can win the whole tournament. Even if we play devil's advocate and say G2 had a chance to beat T1 they would have gotten absolutely bent over and fucked by BLG and GenG if they managed to beat BLG. EU fans think because they had a single close series vs T1 that they are back to 2019 G2 and had a serious shot and are competitive vs Eastern teams.
@@YuYuYuna_ If they eliminated TES then how are they not competitive vs eastern teams? Where is TES from then? From Africa or South America, maybe North Pole?
@@gpk560 yeah but western teams are trash, he should support LPL and LCK. Idk why he supports teams that shouldn't even be participating. Riot should host a LCK vs LPL tournament annually and that's all. More interesting than inviting bad teams and make 70% of the tournament predictable matches.
@@pendetv7256 He's explained it before. Caedrel like rooting for underdogs. He was rooting for T1 and WBG up until finals partly because he was streaming from their HQ and partly because last year T1 were the underdogs because they're the last LCK team in the tournament.
they said : GIVE US T1 lmao , dreams come true G2 also im happy that T1 Coaching staff droped the TK +Senna picks and giving ZEUS more carry champs instead of TANKS ( except Bruiser Ksante) camping FAKER it's new META , but people forgot that FAKER is a Classic Global taunt
T1 plays at their best when the pressure is on. When they are ahead they get to eager and get caught out. But when a team is beating them and it looks lost t1 finds that 1 mistake to capitalize on.
I get what you're trying to say but I wouldn't attribute their success to "sheer will". T1 is the culmination of endless practice, discipline, and skill.
@@chonyun1991 This T1 roster hasn't been playing together for anywhere close to a decade though. Oner started main roster in 2020. Zeus started main roster in 2020. Gumayusi started main roster in 2019. Keria started main roster in 2020. They've only been together for 4~ years
@@vanixiii5657 yes, i know. and t1 fans call them ZOFGK too, ZOFGK stands for Zeus, Oner, Faker, Guma and Keria. use your common sense sometimes lol from all this 47 likes you are the only one who reacted, because they know what ZOFGK means.
Yeah, I'm not a G2 fan, but I'm a bit disappointed with how it turned out. I thought G 2 could do better, after them playing like they could be. Tbf, I doubt they would have beaten BLG. Hopefully we get BLG vs GenG revenge in finals then. I've seen enough T1 vs GenG, it would be nice to see LCK vs LPL finals.
AINTNOWAY they didn't clear the top wave in game 2 and took the freaking hexgates in vision w/ Azir TP up LMAO Faker has been 50/50 but he will always find a way to do damage. That Azir was so far behind but ended up with more gold than ASol
Yeah idk how they ignore that and how BB just runs straight to baron and their fucking support Nautilus is the one left to clear waves in base?? I'm a T1 fan and when I saw them barely not get the nexus I was thinking the game would drag out another 5-10 minutes because of baron and then likely an elder flip but then G2 decided to employ silver elo base defense and leave their support to clear waves and not their fucking top laner who has TP. Naut should have hexgated to baron to tank, they get baron, they push out, maybe pressure bot lane since they still have inhib bot and they can be in a decent position. Leave your top laner who has TP to sit in base, denying the most obvious TP to end the game, and if Faker wants to try and stop baron with his TP near baron THEN you commit top TP and you don't have to worry about getting backdoor'd. In all honesty that fumble of basic macro by G2 said so much about their chances in this series.
G2 did well honestly overall in MSI. Looking like a top 4 team, could stand a chance against GenG and BLG possibly. It's just that T1 have their number by now, dont remember the last time they won a set against them.
I got heartbroken after watching BB became speechless even as a T1 fan...i just want to say that BB keep trying and don't be hopeless. Like look at Zeus , he lost many times..msi finals .worlds finals,,but he kept fighting and became world champion. T1 as a team lost so many times but kept fighting.. best wishes for BB and G2 fir worlds.❤❤❤

@@MrDespisedIcon You say that, but they just went 2-3 with T1 earlier and 3-0ed TES. If they weren't, then people like you would be even more useless than you already are.
@@lemonhaze1506 It's not that surprising, Jax gets absolutely rolled by rumble if there isn't a prio topside or a freeze. It's unlucky but his waves bounced towards rumble and he had no choice but to base, so rumble was able to farm 2-3 waves at tower, base and get components, and from there it's unwinnable for Jax without a gank.
the second game Faker TP and ended the game is so fucking funny.🤣🤣🤣 Just when G2 think they still stand a chance with Hans securing that Quadra and the team going for Baron, Faker came to wake them up. That's just another classic🤣🤣🤣

I can understand the disappointment. A close 5-game series, then back-to-back 3-0's, with one coming from LPL's second seed, and with T1 not on form. This was G2's best chance. They were favored. That's the truth. It hurts because hope was there. It wasn't just imagination. The hope was real. But that was all it was. Hope. In the end, that hope was extinguished on a Friday.
