In December 2012, I flew to St. Maarten in the Caribbean to join Holland America's ship 'Noordam' for what was, not only, my very first performance on a cruise ship but also the very first time EVER setting foot on a cruise ship!
During the early hours of the morning on January 1st 2013, as the New Year's Eve celebrations were winding down, I went to the ship's Piano Bar to listen to New Orleans musician Lee Hendler entertain his guests. Lee very kindly and graciously invited me up to join him at his piano for a jam.
