BlazingBlace So i hear you wanna mod a custom game to make it look like the original game ;) But i think the point is Osu! isnt meant to be the replacement, but an extension to this game where everyone can custom and edit their own song. Theoretically someone can make a narrative similar to this by stringing several songs together with elaborate video and map editting, but you don’t see alot of that, and that’s because this is a consumer-based product, so it has that extra level of handling from production.
I just love the positivity in this game. All the characters face a challenge, get encouragement to face it, and have others help. Makes you feel so good.
I got this game as a gift and treated it as one of those gifts you didn't want but accepted anyway, eventually I got bored enough and opened it and played it. Best decision ever. I really want to play it again now.
It's sad this game (and a lot of rhythm games to be honest) became shovelware. It's a fun as hell (albeit brutal) game that although successful critically, really didn't deserve the neglect it got from consumers.

I don't know how, but as the video goes on, the song progressively starts to sound more and more epic and powerful. I can't tell if its the song itself or the uploader doing so well.
Years late, but it’s because the trumpet picks up as the song progresses; it also incorporates soulful backup vocals in the final verses. The effect is very powerful, especially because we see more and more people come to Sophie’s aid to help change the weather. A testament to what communities can accomplish when they come together. Even if it’s just to help a mother keep a promise to her son
I'll be honest When I first heard of this game I was like. "So its about a government sponsored group that helps people by dancing? Yeah...thats stupid." But then I actually played the game and I was like: " OH SHIT!! THAT FIRE BREATHING GOLEM IS GONNA MURDER THOSE PEOPLE IF THE AGENTS DON'T HELP OUT THAT BASEBALL PLAYER BY DANCING!!! I MUST DO MY BEST!!!" I know that still makes it sound ridiculous but that's a part of the games charm. Elite Beat Agents is one of the funnest DS games ever.
Call me crazy, but before having played the game, this is my favorite song. (I'm also September-born!) I like this better than Makes No Difference, Canned Heat, and even You're the Inspiration! Though not by much! The remixes are so awesome!
I found it amusing that even a bunch of animals that aren't even indigenous to the same area even agree to help her out just because they saw her weather report.
Nintendo definitely needs to try having this be one of their franchises again. Perhaps if we can petition to include Ryuuta Ippongi from the Osu Quendan games into Switch's Smash Brothers, we might have them return to this series. I mean... it worked for Fire Emblem.
Katrina Payne Sakurai as of his interview talking about Piranha Plant, had said "it is more recognizable than a protagonist from an obscure Nintendo-game(s)"... I wouldn't hold ny breath on him giving the support for Ouendan or EBA in that regard (just look what happened to Golden Sun...) It's so ironic too because the Agents or the Ouendan crew would have been pretty much a perfect position for Assist Trophying due their entire point of cheering up in need help. How come this was never done so far is a kind of a shame...
i found this gaame caartridge in the bottom of a box while moving houses and i never actually ... i dont think i ever played it when i was a kid bc i couldnt figure it out and now im fucking obsessed honestly bring back these silly little games with half bad graphics, they're like phone games with no ads??
When I was young I don't know English so I thought just it's good song. When I knew the meaning of lyrics I laughed out at "chasing the cloud away" haha
