Love these things for hunting the hunters (Scythes, mainly). Curiously, the power draw is not much higher than unengineered non-AX multicannons of the same class (for class 3, 0.97 vs 1.12 MW) and the heat load is comparable to incendiary rounds experimental effect. The heat load can actually be an asset, it's really easy to burn off the caustic goo by simply putting 0 pips to WEP while keeping engaged with the adversary--not even silent running needed. At the same time, the heat load is not too high. With 2 pips to WEP I can keep firing 4 of these Azimuth AXMC-s indefinitely, and time to take out a Scythe is actually similar to using 4 Gauss cannons (which heat up the ship something fierce, limiting effective RoF, DPS and endurance due to running out of heatsinks) and faster than using 2 Gauss cannons.
1. I wish these tech broker modules stopped being one module per unlock. The caustic sinks were the right way to go. 2. The 10% boost doesn't feel like a grade 5 engineering. 3. I feel like these help against the new hunter variants, but not a lot. Just a basic upgrade. If they were scared of making interceptor hunting too easy, they could have made a special type of engineering specifically made with a damage boost against hunter variants and scouts, while stating it had no boost against interceptors. All while keeping autoloader. This would keep gaurdians supreme against interceptors, while making this the best hunter thargoid killer, which is what people are struggling with somewhat. Lastly, great video as always :)
Well dang. Lol. I have been enjoying the pre-engineered med shard cannons in Legacy though. Make short work of Cyclops interceptors. I'm looking to move up a class now. @@DryHeatAndSand
