Most fun I have ever had in a game, hands down. I can't remember the name of the event but we chased a dev around, 3 devs actually, part of the lore. A user by the name of Harry Potter killed the main dev... I'll never forget, "Show her the gimbals, Harry!" Total fucking video game epicness.
This is brilliant. I have been making vids for my new channel but stuck on controller instead of my usual HOTAS... Then i see this and I think, I need to do better! Could you post your controller keyinds somehow? Mine are custom but these look better somehow. Have a sub!
Hmm. I think I could probably make a video showing my reWASD set up and my bindings in game for sure. Never thought about it but there have been a lot of people asking over the years.
@@user-en8ep5gq1b I am not sure If I am lucky. I only need to farm up two materials now, whom are on a very distant planet. But I have used my materials yet. So I guess I'll just stock pile and use it later.
@@MayruneGaming I get all the hate in the world when I say this, but oh well: we all know how huge advantage FA-Off provides, but you are basically *forced* to use the mouse, because of the "relative position" option that makes it so easy. I simply wish they provided something similar for joystick and joypad, to put everybody on the same plane. Mind that I also use the mouse, but it feels just wrong. PS i liked the video. edit: oh I also used to get trash talked when proposing the 'Thermal Conduit PAs' way before it becoming the meta, and look now...
I agree with this currently. I think the game has much to offer and to do but I get bored of it rather quickly. The flight model of Elite is unmatched for pvp.
@FlecheDeFer Based on what I've heard from the pvp side is it's shines in 1v1 and Organic. Doesn't do great under focus in wings but it's effective as a peeler. So viable much more so than others but I think rock fights FDL still has the edge it seems.
I keep hearing that but I keep seeing people play it... I'm lost what did they mess up so bad? Is it better than star citizen still was it ever? I want a good space Sim like them where I'm in the cockpit doing most of the flying. ( if I want big battles or to fly capital ships I do have x4. But flying a fighter up to a corvette is like flying a paper plane honestly. But that's due to the design of fleet combat which is cool in itself but when I want the fighter pilot experience that i don't get much from x4. But recently hearing some complaints about both with vague details like it's glitchy... is not helpful and I'm trying to decide a good modern space Sim like elite dangerous or star citizen
@@goku546686 They killed the Console community off. They killed the VR community off. They continue to give us half assed content and DLC *look at odyssey for instance*. If they didnt fuck over all the sub communities like console, vr and various other communities there would be more consistent players and they would still be making money. And now they want us 2k+ hour CMDRs to pay them more money for 3 month cucked pay to win ships they never said they where going to add. I dont feel sorry for them, in the slightest, the whole business remodeling bs they have been going though i saw i mile off. Its simple economics I dont feel sorry for frontier in the slightest, its just such a shame to see such potential squandered. Message me when they make it as good as it was in 2018. And Behalf of everyone who has been f*ed over by frontier. "Fuck you Fdev"
