How do you catch dirt bikes and crotch rockets on a Harley? Give the cops reliable Honda 4 cylinder or BMWs and they stand a chance. Do you think a Harley can keep up with an Aprilia or any of the 600cc and 1000cc bikes? How about supermotards? NOPE, no way. All over Europe Mid weight adventure bikes are used in the cities by the cops for a good reason. The highway patrol uses BMWs and other Japanese performance bikes. Harleys are for dentists and stock brokers who ride them on weekends. They offer no performance, no brakes, no handling, they are stupid heavy, no suspension. They are cruisers not pursuit bikes.
