Impressive piece of kit. That Stinger boom or Snozzle should make injecting water behind a wall without collapsing it a real snap. Every AARF fire fighter loves their Stingers on their crash tenders.
Why don't more departments have Snozzle equipped trucks? it seems like a no-nonsense safety feature to keep fire fighters out of harm's way until absolutely necessary. is it a budget issue, or will we see more of these as older trucks retire?
He didn't say what the GPM rating was for the Pump. All he said was it has a 750 gallon water tank, and a 300 gallon foam tank, and that every single pump discharge has foam capability.
He glossed over it very quickly at 3:23. It's in a compartment behind and beside the left engineers control panel. The monitor is very small and the pull out control plate is not yet added. Control plate is mounted on a bracket or can be hand held. It features all thumb controls including thumb joy sticks similar to that on a game consoles game pad. You would love it.
