@@subhabaskaran1849 He got beat by his female tutor, tbh it's pretty natural that he found her scary considering he was young at the time. HOWEVER, there is such thing called GROWING up and considering what Ciel has been through he has grown up more mentally than most 12 - 13 year olds. People's opinions change over time.
I love how almost the entire fandom practically hated her, myself included, for being so annoying then as soon as this movie came out, we all collectively bowed down for her
Lizzy is somehow part angel or something. She's the light in Ciel's life no matter how annoying she can be. Her intentions are pure and she just wants to make him happy. She's literally pure of heart. I bet she's Ciel's Guardian Angel or something.
@@masterchiefblank4885 in a way yes. I wouldn’t be surprised if Sebastian is distantly related in some form to the phantomhives. My theory: Sebastian is the first phantomhive. Phantomhive on its own sounds like a name a demon/reaper would use. Sebastian was summoned by a woman of noble birth who was engaged to the real first male phantomhive who died. In her distress, she summoned Sebastian and ordered him to become the first phantomhive. Sebastian went on to have a half demon child with her and the family line continued. Sebastian became a disgraced demon as he had a half human spawn. When he found ciel- he saw it as his chance to not only check in but to put an end to his disgrace. By taking Ciel’s soul he destroys the phantomhive family. Ciel literally has a semi demon personality. Francis midfield has skills of a demon to an extent. But Lizzys soul is pure cause she’s too distant from the phantomhive line. Demon traits are dominant in males, so Francis did not get much of it. Sebastian also does look at ciel with some fondness. Recently in manga when Grelle and company were going to take out undertaker in the manor- he freaked out and pretty much acted like he owned the place. It’s even said by real ciel who calls him out on it before telling him to leave. So theoretically, Sebastian is connected to the phantomhives. And undertaker at some point got with Claudia phantomhive. So not only does ciel have demon genes, he’s got reaper genes as well. He is the most powerful in the manga, but he simply cannot use his true abilities. As a human he is 100% weak. When he unlocks the other parts of himself, he becomes stronger.
@@alexandraae1443 Well that was alot of info from just saying Elizabeth is ciels angelic protector and Sebastian is ciels demonic protector but thanks I have no idea what to say now so Ill take my leave as of current see you
Actually she's quite human and she has quite the dark side to her, it's shown on the manga. Unfortunately there's no notice about the anime going on anymore, so you guys should really check it out. I'm in love with her development as a character. But those are quite nice theories, indeed
@@jullysaw6214 the cast is still active with the roles. I wouldn’t be surprised if after Twisted Wonderland hype dies down we get a complete reboot of black butler. As long as we keep Sebastian Grelle and Ciel’s voice actors, I think it’ll be fine. I can live with a reboot. But I’d prefer all same voice actors. The fandom is slowly coming back so there is a chance. We just don’t know how or when. And the pandemic probably pushed it back if it was even planned. The pattern was every four years but sadly it’s exceeded that. The last movie was 2017. It’s 2022. There’s a chance, but I don’t want to get my hopes up. 🥺
You know her personalities is so strong but she acts cute and not strong in front of him Like he loves you as you are you dont need to change for someone
In the manga she's always been treated as a strong person, a "genius" sword fighter who is prohibited from doing girly things. Ciel is about the only clueless one who treat her like a normal girl. If anything he's the only one with whom she can be herself. She's afraid that if he too knew her abilities, he'd hate her like everyone else. She isn't forcibly changing herself for someone else. She wants him to recognize that the "genius" fighter girl is also a normal girl.
I love elizabeth. Despite what some people say thinking she's annoying or too feminine, i think she's amazing. She's one of the few people who genuinely care for Ciel and want to see him happy.
@@GracieSunsets24 fr i audibly gasped at the panel where she pointed her finger at ciel. cuz if she really liked the real ciel then she would've been able to tell that's not him and its pretty clear throughout the whole story she loved our ciel so shes probably feeling betrayed, conflicted and disappointed in herself for not noticing and for loving someone other than her actual fiancé :( but I feel so bad for our ciel cuz he obviously really cared about lizzy
@Keren J R what I was talking about is what happened in the manga. Sorry I don't know Spanish well but if you liked the anime then I really recommend the manga because it's really good and a mostly different story later on than the anime. It is still ongoing
I think it really cool that even though she is extremely girly and delicate, she is also strong and able to protect herself. It shows that femininity doesn't equal being weak. I really love this character and the message she gets through.
Reading the manga, and seeing her mother, father, and older brother I was always wondering what they did wrong for her to turn out like that. Turns out it was that little shit r!Ciel that made her like this
Well look, I confess I’m a big simp for the twins and that r!ciel is one lil shit but when he said that he was still very young so it’s not like he’s to blame no? But again he did mention it several times so.. maybe he is idk ignore me
@@evelyn6794 no it is not in anime it was in the novel , i will pray to god just some day illl hear the news that that there will be more books and season of black butler
I hated Elizabeth before book of Atlantis but then when it came out I couldn’t hate anymore- like she was so badass and the reason that she acted like that to ciel was really sweet.
@ANDREA E AMEGASHIE I think she's just really confused right now and brainwashed, she doesn't know if she should choose the ciel she grew up with or the ciel that came back to her after the fire.
That was honestly the biggest plot twist ever for me, I've never been more surprised and happy about a turn of events than that time in the movie haha, I can't recall any twist better than this one that's not cliché either, just amazing!
I love how she’s fighting and it looks like she’s dancing it’s a really interesting take considering that she’s a female and usually back then females were always taught dancing
I’m so glad I always liked Lizzy. She was by far one of my top 3 favourite characters in the series. Even before I saw the movie, she really reminded me of myself and how I’m seen as very childish and annoying sometimes. A people pleaser. When I saw this movie for the first time I was so freakin hyped to see her getting appreciation.
Tbh it shows how Ciel really does care for her considering he wanted to protect her and then when he no longer could and she fought he accepted her for the way she is. She was so worried he'd hate her for being like that.
@@zelden3836 There's not really a "real" and a "fake" Ciel there's just Ciel. She was only afraid of him finding out cause he found his instructor scary for it and then he grew up and when he found out about it he was alright about it. He didn't want her to get hurt and she saved his life as well.
@@samanthaholmes5922 In the manga the Ciel we know is literally a different person from the one who said the instructor was scary. Although "our" Ciel was even more timid, so he might have agreed. Anyway, either way, his bar for "scary" has been raised considerably since then. But he's told Lizzie as little as possible about his work and what happened to him, so it is understandable if she doesn't know that!
@@emilymoran9152 It doesn't really matter which Ciel said it in the manga. There may of been two Ciel's in the manga but in the anime only one is given to the viewers and that is Ciel. No fake and real ones just Ciel.
@@emilymoran9152 I'm sorry if I came across as rude it's just that I had a bunch of people in another discussion over this going "read the manga!" And I explained like a million times why I can't read the manga and they went calling me stupid and all sorts. A lot of people don't seem to understand that anime's are based off their manga and/or game but that doesn't mean they're going to be identical and it's honestly getting on my nerves people commenting stuff like "real Ciel and fake Ciel" It doesn't matter, in the anime he is Ciel Phantomhive, the queens guard dog.
I actually pretty annoyed with Lizzie in the early episodes after her debut in the manga lol. But to think of it, Lizzie just wanted to be "a soft girl who can be protected by her man". But when she knew that Ciel (her fiance) isn't really "capable" of that, she changed her mind. She wanted to be the one who can protect Ciel. It's a bit heartbreaking to see her crying when she found out the "ciel" she's trying to protect this whole time isn't even her fiance (aka our ciel) Btw, I used to get confused with the manga when they said lizzie is "the best" in sword fencing. But after seeing her snapping those zombies AND dancing at the same time, my wigs were destroyed
This song fits perfectly tbh. I’d always been fascinated with the chess metaphors. And if Ciel is King... then Lizzie is DEFINITELY his Queen. Honestly the only reason I wanna watch Book of Atlantic again is for this scene. Spoilers and fake/real Ciel aside, I love Elizabeth and Ciel’s relationship. A Queen should be able to protect herself and her king if need be, and although I loved Lizzy’s conflict and the fact that she was upset at showing her “non-ladylike” side to Ciel; she needed to save his ass. Love my badass girl.
I think the best part is that after all is said and done she's crying and thinking that he hates her and he is in a daze. that boy liked what he saw and probably fell in love even more after seeing her go all out and slash those zombies.
I've actually liked her before the Campania arc and these parts only made me love her even more! I just love how there's more to her character (and every character in Kuroshitusji for that matter) then just what we see on the surface. Yana-sensei knows how to make compelling and layered characters and Lizzy is just one (surprising)addition to that list. Here's hoping we'll see more of her in the future! If there's gonna be an epic final battle in the manga, I want to see her there owning the battlefield
Can we recognize something amazing? She used DECORATIVE SWORDS to kill 30+ zombies. Decorative swords are NOT sharp (generally) and using utter skill she laid out half a battalion of zombies. Truly, a queen.
I love how some of the scenes in this AMV fit very well with the beat of the song, like 0:30 and the following seconds, 0:37 and especially Lizzy's angry face at 0:48 in connection with her fight skills before. Also, the general built of of the scenes fit perfectly with the song's structure, picturing Lizzy as a little Princess in the beginning and showing her strengh and independence during the hook. Love the transitions! It's just amazing! Became one of my favorite AMV's after the first watch. Very good work!
elizabeth is one of my fav character she loves ciel and would do anything for him like she dont wear high heels cuz ciel is shorter and she hide fighting ability from him cuz its not ciels type and its so beautiful edit im loving it
I don't believe I hated Lizzie, just found her annoying, but she grew on me. This makes me love her even more and surpasses a "dumb blonde" chick. She is smart, graceful, and badass.
I think you all sometimes forget that she could kick Ciel's ass if she wanted to. And her behaviour throughout the whole anime is exactly what was expected of girls at this time. So all the people saying that she is useless and annoying: you don't know a damn thing about her! She is so strong and so badass, I love her.
I was watching JJK edits, and then for some reason I just started thinking of this scene with Lizzy and I just had to go find it because it was such an amazing scene. And I've just been coming across a lot of great edits, like this one. Love it.
SO FAR my fav AMV EVERRR, the way the beat is building up and drops at 0:47 and lizzie's expression there is just prefection! Simple yet amaizing editing! The song fits this scene so much, i feel like people overlooked lizzie's past so much, theres more to her than we know, even though shes this cutesy and feminime girl, shes actually raised with swordsmanship and shes called a genius in her fencing class! Her family take pride in their swordmanship skills and i think genes played a part in this too. My fav line is "The dance that i know had nothing to do with the waltz(Cmiiw)" UGSHSHS LITTERAL QUEEN. litterally all of her family is amaizing at weilding swords, Im so glad that her mom taught her swordmanship and doesnt pressured her into "girls have to be cute!" Bullcrap. But unfortunately she got that fr society + r!ciel
When I first saw this I was shouting literally YES YES ANS YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSS. This is SSSSOOOO good I like this keep up the good work it looks like she is dancing. I love it when she saves Ciel cause she loves him
This is why I love Lizzie, she's a badass but still wants to be seen as cute, just because she's strong doesn't mean she doesn't like the same things other girls like and the fact that her fighting has dancing mixed in makes her mesmerising to watch
WOOOW, the song matches perfectly and your editing skills are...! I don't like most AMVs but seeing yours reminds me that there are still amazing ones out there!
What would've made this video is if you put some of her lines as captions. "I wanted to be cute for you" "I didn't want you to see me like this" "Now I'm gonna protect you" "My name is Elizabeth something something, Wife of the Queen's Guard Dog"
Not gonna lie, in the beginning I didn’t like Lizzy very much... she seemed a bit too pushy and dramatic, she acted like a spoiled rich girl and that annoyed me. But as the anime started developing and we got to see a lot more about her and her story... she honestly became one of my favorites. This scene was so unexpected... when she started wielding that sword I was like “WHAAAAAT?!”... i so surprised and now I really like her character!
I like how Elizabeth's dress is not covered with blood that skill is in another level she doesn't need to be treated like a queen because she is a queen and the ending was impressive she looks nice and the second she turned in to a queen she may look nice but she's dangerous
