They did'nt have a story they did't date they did'nt even have a conversation unless it was about Allie. They have always been friends and that's what they potray nathing else I see it.

Maybe Jeanette was someone who straddled the lines of right and wrong too just like Lucas until she crossed that line & did illegal things becoming a criminal. Maybe Lucas didn't want to go that far doing illegal things. So he left Jeanette because Lucas didn't want to become a criminal & go to jail. 😂
All you talented folks who make these gorgeous videos - I'm so grateful. I cried watching this too, in addition to other videos that made me cry. Their story has been epic and anyone who doesn't see that has no clue about storytelling.
I agree that the people who don't see what Lindsay did was great storytelling don't understand the writing process & great storytelling. For Lindsay to take the mess that JT tried to sell us & turn it on it's head showing all those scenes in S8 & S9 was about Elizabeth being afraid to have another great love because she was fearful of losing Nathan. Elizabeth choose to get into a relationship with Lucas when he kept being relentless in pursuing her. However, it was Nathan she was in love with this whole time. Lucas was just a safe, comfortable, and uncomplicated choice. Lucas was maybe a "safe" love as the writers called it. Elizabeth had a fondness she tried to convince herself was love with Lucas. Maybe even a friendship over books, but that relationship was safe. What Lindsay did with Nathan & Elizabeth's complicated, but gentle "Love Comes Softly" storyline & romance was beautiful. I mean Alfonso did come out & say he created Nathan for Elizabeth. So, JT threw a curve ball in the show in S8 & S9 trying to take it in a different direction unfortunately for him it didn't work out most #hearties weren't buying what he was selling. What Lindsay as showrunner & Alfonso did as consultant in S10 & S11 with this story was amazing 👏 They brought this show back to the roots & heart of WCTH! ❤ I hope Alfonso is back in S12 as a consultant again. I know we have Lindsay Sturman as our showrunner again. ❤😊 I can't wait to see Elizabeth & Nathan's courtship, engagement, marriage & the blended family. That's the truth!!! I know that if N and E didn't get put together, and E remained with Lucas, I would have stopped watching the show!!!!! Couldn't stand seeing E and Lucas together. He was so phony!--with his pleasantries and speaking French! Really?!?! All the videos I've seen of E and N, as well as every season and episode of WCTH(after s5,after Jack's death), the so beautiful love story of E and N! KUDOS 👏 to the writers 👏 for the very moving and beautiful monolog said by E to N in s11,e11, at the end of the episode 👏. Watched it over and over again!!!!!!!
This is amazing. I don't know how you can watch this and not see thr journey that Nathan and Elizabeth have been on. They were meant for each other and they finally found their way home. Beautifully done! ❤
They were on a journey alrigt but not a love one he came into town to serve and protect and did not tell her the whole story he say he fell in love with her eventho they had'nt been on a date or had coffee or anything. They have nothing in common or any chemistry so I don't see where they are meant to be together show me.

You have put together an amazing narrative, reminding me how the writers of the show have played us along like a fish on a hook….letting us bite, then run off in our own directions before they pulled us back in. You have now reminded us why we have loved this series, this story about Elizabeth and Nathan’s journey. You skillfully and lovingly spliced together all these points that should have revealed the end game from the first time we met him. My faith waivered as I felt the writers let us down when Elizabeth rejected Nathan for Lucas, but you have restored that faith for us. For me. Thank you. The music you chose is perfect, too. Nathan came to town on his asignment to protect Elizabeth and Lil Jack because he did something stupid and Jack had to go out in his place and got killed. They have not been on a love journey because he came into the story after Lucas did the writers and showrunner made Lucas and Elizabeth friends before Nathan entered the story. Nathan did'nt tell Elizabeth about Fort Clay for two seasons what kind of love is that. They have no chemitry nothing in common he can't help her get her book started he can't hardly be a father to Allie so what makes you think they could be the love story. Nathan said he always knew that Elizabeths heart was with him/Lucas.
@@summerdayvideos I saw an interview with Kevin and he said Erin had showed him one of these edits. I'm not sure which one he was referring to but it was one that showed the arc that they went through. They loved it. I hope it was this one.

If this is the best love story you have seen I sure would'nt want to see your worst it can't get any worst. Lucas and Elizabeth love story was the best they were friends first ne helped her with her writing they could talk about anything they were interested in books he taught her class for her when she had an error to run they was always in sinc.

Oh my goodnesss!!! You've outdone yourself. What a beautiful full circle epic love story!!! All of the moments, all of the things, all of the feelings and fear that got in the way have been dealt with. True love is always worth fighting for and if you want it bad enough, it'll be worth the risk. I'm so glad Elizabeth woke up and realized what she really wanted. In being safe, it wasn't a matter of a choosing a man less likely to get hurt, injured or killed. It was which one would hurt HER less mentally and emotionally if she lost him. Like she said to Nathan, "It would hurt too much if i lost YOU the way i lost Jack!" She came to realize it would hurt just as much to lose Nathan. And this became true, even if she wasn't with him. So its worth the risk to love and be loved by someone who has your whole heart. I love that their relationship is not perfect based on how many dates, gifts and GG to be had, but based on reality, friendship, supporting one another in the everyday moments in life along with the sweet, spontaneous organic romantic moments. It all adds up to a wonderful story of love and companionship. We know there will be more challenges to come. In life, there always is but its getting through them together as soulmates that's most important. ❤❤❤

Nathan and Elizabeth belong together. However, I must say that Lucas and Elizabeth’s kisses were deeper and more passionate than the kisses she has shared with Nathan so far. What’s up with that? Is Kevin McGarry not a good kisser? After them loving each other for so long and taking so long to get together, I expected to see more passion, more fire 🔥 between them. Those kisses leave a lot to be desired. C’mon Nathan and Elizabeth, turn up the heat in season 12, please.

Nice video, however, I just don't see the chemistry between Elizabeth & Nathan. From Season 6 & 7, Elizabeth was obviously still looking at both Lucas & Nathan as romantic interests, but once she chose Lucas, her romantic feelings were for Lucas & Nathan was a friend. The 'beginning' of Season 10, Brian Bird & Lindsey Sterman said they were going with a wedding for Elizabeth & Lucas, but 'changed' their minds. Most of Season 10 &11 was nothing but pushing a 'relationship' for Elizabeth & Nathan which was unnatural. If they decided to breakup Elizabeth & Lucas, ok, but it needed to be more realistic. Elizabeth went from ecstatic with the proposal from Lucas to 'safe choice' & having feelings for Nathan much to quickly....sorry, I don't buy that Elizabeth 'always' had feelings for Nathan. However, since that's the way the writers & Lindsey are going, I hope they have Nathan be more of a Mountie otherwise, he's a bit boring.
That is not true . They film the entire season at one time, so they had to already know the direction. Just like right now. , they will film all of season 12 do the editing and announcements premier date. They could not have changed their mind.
