Elizabeth Olsen talks all about sex scenes in 'Love & Death' and why she doesn't miss playing the Scarlet Witch for Marvel movies anymore. bit.ly/VarietyS... / variety / variety / variety
Whenever she's ready for a Marvel movie I'm in but for now she has earned a break from it. She's now exploring more options and trying new things for her career. Good for her.
She was so good in “Love and Death”. She better get an Emmy nomination for it! I would love for her to be in Quentin Tarantino’s final movie because her talent would work so well with his style!
I'm sure someone with a decent eye and sense for talent would know better to hire Elizabeth for a role that will definitely be another groundbreaking hit for her and the production. She's just such a talent and of the best actress still on the rise today.
We need to see more of Lizzie on a regular basis! I could listen to her all day, and her smile and laugh makes me smile with her. She's truly a gem. I used to get my fix on her Instagram stories, but the community took that away.
33 Mins of seeing my favorite human being in Elizabeth Olsen thank the lord. The way we getting these content is truly remarkable. Elizabeth Olsen is a goddess
I quite liked "Sorry For Your Loss". But "Wandavision" was other level. I feel for people who quit watching that one after a couple of episodes cuz they thought it was just camp takes on old whitebread sitcoms. It was sooo much more than that.
I honestly do not know why none of those BIG creators like Tarantino, Nolan, Villeneuve etc haven't had picked Elizabeth for any project, she is an amazing actress, with huuuge range and she is very intelligent. It is a crime
She hasn't really proven herself in anything as a standout actress. Other than the MCU stuff, her most "meaty" role was what, Wind River maybe? Nowhere near the level to be getting offers from the biggest character-driven directors working today.
I too want Elizabeth Olsen to be in Tarantino's final movie. Lizzie has become a pleasant surprise as one of my favorite celebrities that pop up in my various feeds. She just always feels authentic and self-aware; I only see her in these random videos, so what do I know, but she just feels like she's being herself more and being less self-important than others.
18:12 "There's always this misconception... you work in Hollywood, you must be rich!" Yea, that's the big misconception and that's why I support the current "Hollywood Strike" that's going on right now. I mean come on, a huge % working in Hollywood are non-A-List and so so many of them are struggling to make ends meet! 🥺😢 Then this A.i. thing for what, 1-day pay? That's RIDICULOUS!! Btw, Lizzie Olsen is so talented as much as she's so adorbs!
not seeing enough praise for the interviewer, he was great! created such a comfortable personable environment for Elizabeth. Big fan hope i see him in more stuff.
I find this woman very attractive. When she talks she looks down-to-earth and easygoing but kinda troubled in her mind (notice that she stays still staring at something all the time, like wondering about stuff, but all of a sudden she laughs looking at the guy and seems more engaged into the the conversation)
I love Quentin Tarantino movies and Elizabeth Olsen. It doesn't matter which movie he makes she would be perfect to play any of the characters. She's a amazing, captivating and lovely woman 💖💖
I only watch the show for her. Did not know about the story or that it was real but she's such a great actress. I truly hope her post Marvel roles keep coming in droves. I trust her to navigate any role she is handed
Liz is amazing, she's super talented, and just happens to be insanely nice as well. So funny she's related to the Olsen twins, grew up with them, and now my adult life is better because of Liz.
The internet will NOT shout at anyone not asking Elizabeth about Marvel, just those few idiots will yap momentarily. It’s actually sorta tiresome to watch/listen to her answer the same question, feels kinda reductive of her as a performer, and also a bit corny/desperate on the part of the interviewer or outlet. Let actors promote their most recent project, please and thanks.
Ikr it's so annoying ! It's the same thing for every other MCU actors or famous franchises actors (like Harry Potter cast) and I just can't stand it now. She's here for Love & Death, not Wanda.
Thank you finally someone saying , it’s being tiring every interview she has done for love and death seing someone ask her about Wanda and marvel stuff when there is literally no link in between the two things , they need to learn to not reduce an actor to just one character even tho wanda is the most popular character she have played it’s just annoying in the long term !
I hope Elizabeth Olsen plays to same piper as Sigourney Weaver. I do not think people realize how close "The Scarlet Witch" was to killing "Thanos" in Avenger's Endgame. Elizabeth Olsen masterfully played the role of the Scarlet Witch masterfully plucking the "Love Me Nots" off Thanos. In-Story: If Thanos didn't call out "Reign Fire", Elizabeth Olsen (playing the Scarlet Witch) would have masterfully smiled with delight as she plucked the head off Thanos - "You took everything from me..." What if Quentin Tarantino's "End Game" masterfully interwove all three Olsen Sister's? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. - Ecclesiastes 4:12
@@Sifar_Secure Admittedly I did say masterful "three times". You may take that a Metaphysical Conceit for the Trinity if you wish. But I truly believe a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. - Ecclesiastes 4:12
She is a great actress, maybe underrated something!!😃 I love her she is beautiful, cute, funny and talented!🤩 I love Tarantino as a director, and it would be great to see her in his last movie (of course I hope it's not Tarantino's last movie)😉
I do hope she can somehow shake of Wanda Maximoff in the future... Like I can understand how tyring it must be always talking bout that one specific role you did... 28:25 she sounds so tierd bout it. Like "I've made other movies though..." XD
bizarre that she has no roles right now. she could rival Jlaw with the right director and with the right script. i think she needs a better agent or something
@@StaminaMC i am reacting to her saying "nothing is going on" obviously its her choice but i find it bizarre that the industry aren't throwing scripts at her feet. or that her agency aren't doing the best they can. i mean with all the streaming services there are many shows being developed it cant be all terrible and it cant be all lacking finances.
I find it bizarre that you've assumed that the industry _isn't_ throwing scripts at her feet or that her agency _aren't_ doing all they can. I think it's more reasonable to assume that both those things are indeed happening but, despite that, nothing from either of those channels has brought about anything that piques her interest (since she doesn't NEED to accept anything), whereas the ones she's most excited by have stumbling blocks to contend with.
Are you saying that it's her choice to be unemployed? That's a stupid answer. You can tell from the interview she doesn't like that she has no new projects.
I’m saying what *I* said, not what you did: she’s not working not because there’s nothing for her to do, but because what’s currently on offer doesn’t inspire her. When that changes, so too will her employment status.
It would be a little sad not to see Wanda anymore in the MCU especially since they finally have the rights to the X-Men. But if Elizabeth Olsen doesn't want to return, I'd have to respect her decision.
marvel is so fucked up now that they are not producing a scarlet witch movie. the one female hero that is true loved by the fans, played by one the best actress of this generation, that had the only influential and acclaimed disney+ show and really is the most powerful avenger. i can't believe they gonna let elizabeth olsen leave the franchise.
Misleading title for this video. Olsen talks more about Ari Aster than she does about QT, and she cites Östlund, Aster, Lanthimos, as well as QT as current strong directors with whom she'd love to work.
Always a great interview, im a huge fan . Hope to see more Marvel in the future ! Its impossible to not want more , we spent years waiting and anticipating the next amazing show and we are still learning from them 😅❤🎉
I don’t fawn over people often because I think our looks go to our heads waaaay too much, especially for the fairer sex. But damn, she looks better than ever. Like she looks like she went from a 10 to an 11 or 12 somehow. 😍
I'm manifesting that one day I'll work beside her, not because of her name, but because who she is, i wanna work beside someone who advocates for everyone in line of work, who respects, listens, reciprocates what's given, and is a kindhearted human. It would be a dream and I'm here to manifest it.
