The advent girls immediately jumping into background singer mode was incredible and really shows how good their group dynamic is. They've always been good at assembling talent but I feel like cover are just now really finding their ability to create fantastic synergy within a generation and have everyone on the same wavelength by design as opposed to lucking into certain group dynamics.

One of the girls mentioned that starting with Advent, they invest more time pre-debut to help the talents fill any tech/streaming skill gaps, develop a group dynamic, record covers and originals, commission assets, etc etc etc before going live.

I can't lie, she really doesn't know how to sing imo. She's got a strong voice with lots of nice techniques, but she has a MASSIVE problem with actually matching the vibe of the song. She adds so much shit that just doesn't fit the song she's singing and so she just ends up making every song sound the same but with different lyrics. I legitimately hate most of the covers she's been doing because she's just not singing it right.

Likely because she doesn't understand the song. You're much less likely to have complaints about her English covers, because she actually understands them, instead of 'just' being technically impressive.
