A.R.Rahman is an Indian composer in the league of World Class Composers like John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Ennio Morricone, John Barry, Jerry Goldsmith, Alexandre Desplat, Michael Giacchino, Dave Jordan, Thomas Newman, Ludwig Goransson, Alan Silvestri, Dave Jordan, James Horner, Danny Elfman ... and even better because of his extreme versatility ranging from Western Classical, Orchestral, Electronics, Indian Classical to almost everything. Sorry if my comment is repetitive but I want to celebrate a living legend among us.
This epic music came out of nowhere when watching the movie. I was not expecting this kind of brilliant soundtrack, its something you would here in a superhero movie when the hero is coming back for vengeance against the villain.
But Cate blanchett, greatest actress in history, she is Queen Elizabeth this movie if your an Englishman like me who worships & adores his country gives you a sense of pride only an Englishman can get when you already love your country & its history of 4000 years or more of kings & queen's that turned a tiny island into the greatest largest empire on earth, you get this feeling that's hard to explain we've never lost a battle they all tried to take us on & lose, Henry V & Elizabeth I will be remembered forever what is give to bow down to Henry or Elizabeth
This music is too beautiful and awesome! I really love the angel voice and the melody of that is like a heroes destiny by keep the words from the goddes and stop the ultimate evil once at for all. Like Man of Steel.
" O dios todopoderoso, calma tu ira. Tus vientos han humillado nuestro orgullo. Nuestros navíos han sido destrozados. Nuestros ejércitos han perecido. Hágase tu voluntad, amen."
I'v heard this before & thought "what the hell" what is that how can music move Yiu hear I'm a songwriter and this has left me speechless man, grown 41 year old & this just has your nerves going into an epic overdrive that feels ecstatic, how the hell do you write something like this, every time I hear it, never realised it was from Elizabeth golden age movie, we all know music can move ya, but this, it plays with every cell in your body, I'm trying to figure out though where I first heard it
She single handedly united the island for the first time in its history, by naming James her successor. Not only did he rule over the entire island of Britain, but he also ruled Ireland. He was the first ruler to be called "King of Britain".
no body knows that this original motion picture sound track is composed by academy award winner AR RAHMAN for Elizabeth: The Golden Age Soundtrack: "Storm"
@Kyle Mcfadden wasn't a shit movie. It's just that people were comparing the movie to the only other recent DC universe movies at the time which were Nolan's Batman trilogy. Though today with the myriad of shite movies coming out ppl are now realising the movie deserves alot more credit than it was given.
I was thinking Man Of Steel and then said cannot be, I remember it from first Man Of Steel trailers it's the most inspiring epic piece of music ever created and I thought Beethoven's a minor was epic
the base undertone of this piece is pure hair standing on end... you can feeeel the brokenness and abandonment of Elizabeth I ... man poor lady could NEVER catch a break... in love, in politics, and .. in the end. and the performance and casting of cate blanchett is just other worldly QE1 was I believe the height of the british empire, QE2 during the first 3/4 of her term came damn close, but their shunning of Diana (and indirect murder of her and dodi al fayed).. was a catastrophic fall.. I can only hope the Princes can recover. then again she got the shaft by the royal bureaucracy as well so its understandable. ya know i have more romance and respect for the government of GB than i have for my own...Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!!!!???
It has been used in other films (or trailers for), but I can't remember which one. I do know that it was not the Tudors or man of steel. IT was one the came out around the same time.
@@bexie1992 It was used in the second Man of Steel trailer, to great effect. I recognized it from this movie but it still gave me chills watching the MOS trailer the first time.
el colocaba a una nueva nacion americana yo tendre el mudo si tengo la oportunidad pero para sacarles de la pobreza a todo el mundo y buscare una reyna
This "epic music" suffers from one of the most glaring musical mistakes in film history: Mozart's requiem as Elizabeth ascends the throne having vanquished her enemies and declaimed her chastity. An awful mismatch and a terrible flop.
