The path I just took to accidentally discover this song is WILD. I was listening on Spotify to the It's a Sin cover by Elton John, I looked up the original, stumbled upon Rickard's cover of the song, found One by One, thought it sounded like a eurovision song, looked it up on RU-vid and here I am.
Elize, Rickard - please, please come back. Please don't be discouraged by the fact that the Swedish public weren't able to recognize that this should've won Melodifestivalen; it won't be the same next year without you. :(

Elize Ryd was BY FAR the best.This song was very underrated.It's my most favourite song from esc 2015 until now.It should have won.Also,the app crash may have got into this problem.I can't believe the top 2 songs ended in the worst places,Molly and One by one.They were the best.Also,Elize Ryd is so beautiful in this video. I can't still believe.It has happened 1 week ago,and I am still very sad about what has happened.I hope doesn't make a bad mistake and choose Eric Saade only because he went to eurovision once,because he wasn't and isn't the best.

I came back here after a few months and this song still touches me (and still is extremely catchy!). I don't want to say that Heroes is an one-season hit while this song is just well composed. It is not what matters. I just want to thank you for sharing your voice, for this great collaboration and for writing this masterpiece. I hope one day a French song written and sung by Elize, I'm sure it can be done especially the French language and the easiest to voice not in writing. And if possible I would like Elize represented France in a future contest Eurovision.
This is 100 000 000 times better than STRONG in message and in execution, this is true strength. Have you lost your way in those 5 years ??? Snap out of it.

Eurovision judges are so bad at their job. Elize last year, Avantasia this year. They don't even realize how large and powerful are fanbase of metal bands/artists

The song is fine, but his voice doesn't fit. He's an operatic tenor singing a pop oriented song. His delivery though classically appropriate doesn't sound right at all. He has a good voice, but he should be singing Pavarotti or opera...not something that could be a Top 40 song. Elize sounded great since this falls into her wheelhouse very easily. So no disrespect to him as a singer because he has good cadence and tambor along with control...just he should've known the limitations of his ability. This is not a song that an operatic singer can pull off and make it seem natural.
Actually, I bet Roy Khan from Kamelot would have a great voice for this song. They've worked together many times before... come on, make it happen Elize! :)
Chris Lehne Couldn't agree more about Roy. He's got great range and is one of the more impressive singers in gothic/symphoic metal to show up in recent years, when he's not ill of course.
+Chris Lehne I'm also a big fan of Roy,but haven't you heard? He has retired from metal scene and it's preaching at a church or something like that. :( The biggest loose in music!
